About THAI Original House Restaurant
Boat noodles anchor the menu at THAI Original House Restaurant, a Thai restaurant on Bridge Street in Bolton, served with pork or beef and in a spicy version, with Thai milk tea poured alongside the food. Around 16 dishes make up the list, taking in curries and stir-fries as well as Pad Thai, which comes in a pork version. The kitchen is run by a chef owner, and the dining room works on table service, with the person taking the order offering suggestions from the menu. Tables are walk-in, so no reservation is needed, and the doors open daily. For anyone eating off site, takeaway and delivery both run, and orders can be placed ahead by phone.

Customer Review Summary
Pad Thai anchors most accounts, ordered with pork or alongside crispy chicken and fried rice, and repeatedly described as really good and among the best Thai food several have had in a long time. Close behind sit the boat noodles, chosen by one diner on the recommendation of the person taking the order and praised as spicy with beef, though another found them less sweet than usual. Thai milk tea comes up more than once as the drink to get, and mango sticky rice, red curry, chicken cashew and spring rolls also draw specific praise. Multiple reviewers call the food authentic and note that both taste and service improved after the owner changed. The clearest dissent comes from one diner who found the green curry chicken rice lacked any curry flavour and the tom yum little more than salty broth, with prices felt to be on the higher side. A separate account describes a phoned takeaway order that had not been started on arrival.

“We had the most amazing food and the chef/owner was so lovely. My daughter's love Thai food and we all agreed this is the best we've had in a long time. We chose Pad Thai, Red Curry and Chicken Cashew, all absolutely delicious as was the spring rolls and crackers. The playlist also got a 10/10! Thank you.”

“the food is really delicious. we ordered thai milk tea. thats the one. Although the boat noodles is not that sweet as usual, it is still great. no doubt to order food. unfortunately, we rang to order take away and asked how long should it take. after 15 mins we arrived but they weren't cooking yet. and I didn't think that was busy at the moment, sorry only two table customers. after we pay they started cooking our order. I think thats not quite fair. if we want waiting why would we ring to order right? hopefully thats the rare issue. p.s. discount for cash is 5% off now”

How this listing is sourced
- Where the data comes from
- Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
- How it stays current
- Listings are re-checked in batches against their public profile, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
- How it is ranked
- Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
