  “Havent ordered from here in a while but after moving back to the town centre thought would give them a try. Ordered for collection, donner kebab and kebab wrap. Portion sizes were excellent and the kebab meat was second to only one other place I've tried in Blyth... (Nowhere beats Newsham Pizza as of yet) Will definitely be my go to when I don't want to wait for a delivery now.”

  “The best hot chicken calzone I have ever had. I will only come here for my calzone fix from now on. The atmosphere is a 3/5 because it’s nothing special, but the scran is top tier. Unbelievable.”

  “Awful customer service. Was our go-to takeaway which we've used regularly for many years. This time they missed part of meal and we called to request a replacement. They asked if we could do without this time as they were busy. Asked for a refund instead if they couldn't replace and they immediately said they'd send one out "When we have time" and immediately hung up. Driver returned with replacement but refused to hand over as some had already been eaten. Delivery driver left with both old and new meal, leaving litter on floor. Called restaurant who refused to replace or refund. Very disappointing for a company we'd been happy with for a long time, but service was completely unacceptable throughout process.”

  “Absolutely abysmal service from Best Pizza Express - We've been ordering with them regularly for quite a few years, never had any issue. Today when we ordered, one of the wraps had no salad on it so I rang them up and asked for a replacement which after a while they agreed to "when we have time" (at first they didn't want to agree to that and asked if we could just do without it this time) after about 20 minutes a new wrap arrived. Here's the fun part - the driver asked us to bring the other wrap to investigate it. He immediately got arsy that too much of the wrap was eaten, and he ended up taking both of the wraps away. He left rubbish on our front yard too (we got videos of this encounter). We rang best pizza three times and after explaining the situation with 3 different people we were hung up on. Honestly a shame, had been our go-to, but now will find a new takeaway. It has been one hell of a circus show tonight, thanks. EDIT: They refused to refund us because according to them we refused the new wrap delivery when it was the driver who said he won't give us the new wrap because we ate too much of the wrong one.”

  “My god the food was bad, can't even cook chips right. Cold and late. This shop used to be great, not anymore. Phoned up to complain and they just put the phone down. Customers just don't seem to be important to this business...”

  “Disgraceful service. Ordered meal deal which should have included 2 x kebab with chips and another portion of chips according to menu. Arrived with 1 portion of chips. Called restaurant to explain and was told not their fault. Incorrectly advertised by just eat and to inform them! If that is the case then they should not accept orders for that meal deal. False advertising. No apology, no option to order extra chips. Just told the manager agreed with call taker. Would have happily paid for more chips had we known the order would only arrive with 1 portion. Menu mistake is forgivable but Disgraceful attitude of women who answered the phone is not acceptable. Gave this place one last chance after last order took 2 hours to arrive. Will never order again. Also a little suspicious that they have several 5 star reviews from the same person 23rd December.....”

  “Orderd a folded pizza sent me the wrong pizza and it was flat !! When I called and asked for a replacement folded pizza as ordered was made to wait an eternity for replacement that never came and the girl on the phone said the owner was mean and begrudged replacing my order and she said he made her pay for the order because it was her fault had problems like this in the past so have about 8 others iv spoke to hence the reason I'm reviewing this place I'd give it 0 out of 5 if I could but unfortunately it's not an option bin waiting a hour for the replacement pizza still no show please people avoid this place like the playge terrible service and they get the staff to play you off when you ring up pretty much the worse takeaway iv ever reviewed even the ones with terrible food (which this place is reknown for ) replace the order when it's there fault not this place horrible food pood quality and terrible service I'd give it 0.4 out of 10 please people who read my reviews stay clear of this place a few of my contacts have also reported food poisoning !! I'd know if i had got the pizza I ordered!! Best pizza express more like worst pizza express and worst pizza experience pay the extra and go to papa johns wish I had now !!!! Didn't eat it I gave it to my dog she wouldn't eat it so I gave it to my other dog and she ate it but to be fair she took her time she didn't devour it like usual bad food not even dog worthy !! Find all the details and phoncall recordings on by blogging page thanks guys !!!!! You can tell why the dog didn't want the greasy cold pizza I got check out the photo guys not appetising at all”
