Customer Review Summary
The complaints are specific and recur. One reviewer reports three wrong orders in a row, with hot and sour soup arriving as sweet and sour sauce, deep fried won tons delivered as soup, and everything cold, plus a rude phone manner. Others describe dry, hard chicken balls, burnt chips, watery curry, and salt and pepper chicken that was only wok fried with no crispy coating. Several note it is cash only, and one was asked to put their change in the tip jar. One diner who ordered a prawn dish received a free bag of prawn crackers.

“Ordered a simple chicken & sweet corn soup and some salt & pepper chicken… soup was ok and the salt & pepper chicken was dire!.. just pieces of chicken wok fried with onions and chillie flakes… not lightly battered fried and crispy before the seasoning should have been added, then returned to the wok, just chicken fried in a wok.. very disappointed won’t be ordering again.”

“Yes, tasty food is an individual thing. However, in this case, all I can say is that since moving to Blackpool in January, we have eaten from so many takeaway establishments (testing purposes only 😉) that now we have been able to locate and hopefully inform anyone who's interested that this Chinese takeaway is in our opinion the best one we have tried. The service is excellent, the food is cooked quickly and it tastes great. One small caveat, though, is that they only take cash, although, just across the road at the post office, there's a cash machine.”

“This is the 1st time ordering from here, and it was lovely thankyou for this lovely food, I ordered crispy duck & pancakes, chicken curry in black bean sauce, chips, boiled rice, and beef curry it was a good price, roughly about £30odd. The beef and chicken was nice with plenty of flavour, and the sauce was perfect not runny and not thick, the chips was nice and a decent amount of boiled rice. I would highly recommend this Chinese.”
