Quick info
About Lagom Coffee
Lagom Coffee is a coffee shop in Bembridge, on Sherborne St, serving specialty coffee from a rotating selection of beans for both filter and espresso. A corner of the shop sells beans from different roasters, along with cups, for anyone who wants to brew at home. The food menu runs to small bites rather than full meals, with a Swedish hotdog and a pastrami and pesto sourdough toastie, plus cakes and freshly baked pastries. Tables suit couples and small groups, and dogs are welcome. Parking for cars and bicycles is limited.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often return for the coffee, praised as smooth and delicious specialty coffee, with a rotating selection of beans for both filter and espresso. Close behind are the toasties, with sourdough fillings and pastrami and pesto singled out as fantastic. Diners also name a chicken caesar wrap, matcha, Swedish hotdogs that children called the best they had ever had, and cookies and cakes, with one calling the cookie possibly the best they have had. Staff are described as friendly, and one reviewer notes they were happy to make off-menu coffee styles. The food menu is described as small bites and cakes rather than large meals. A few reviewers raise small gripes: one finds the hotel-like cups unsuitable for a flat white made with specialty beans, another suggests adding a Long Black to the menu, and one notes limited parking for cars and bicycles. A retail corner for beans from different roasters and cups gets a mention too.

“One of the best coffee shops I’ve visited in the north of England. Lovely staff, very friendly and great coffee. Always a selection of beans to choose from as well as a rotation for both filter and espresso that keeps things interesting. I always visit when im in Newcastle. They also have a cute corner for getting beans from different roasters and cups etc.”
