Customer Review Summary
Beef curry is the dish reviewers single out most pointedly, with one calling the meat perfect, neither fatty nor shredded. Close behind are a special satay that a first-timer had been searching for and the Chinese Special soup that draws one diner all the way from Barrhead. Huge portions and a polite delivery driver also earn mentions, and one newcomer calls their first meal delicious. The caveats carry real weight. Longtime customers describe a decline since the change of management: curry and sweet and sour with a powdery, chalky taste, far less pineapple, tomato and pepper in the sauce, no spring onion in the fried rice, and prices that differ from one order to the next. Another reviewer found the fried rice stodgy after a long wait in the shop while phone orders were served first. One first-time customer says two curries, including a chicken curry that was not the breast requested, ended up binned. Another received cold chips that tasted day old and reheated, and the replacement did not save the meal.

“Waited 45-50 mins for my takeaway (in the shop). Which us ridiculous they seemed to be dealing with phone pick up orders first instead of shop customers. The fried rice was very stodgy so wasted the meal. WILL NOT BE BACK”

“Been a while since I ordered from here, but oh wow! Food has always been amazing, but portion size - huge, we are talking double usual takeaway portions! Very polite delivery driver as well, lovely customer service as always. Thank you very much!”
