Customer Review Summary
Honey chilli chicken is the dish reviewers name most, with one regular calling it delicious alongside the chicken curry, and another praising it with the Peking chicken and spring rolls. Close behind are the salted chilli chips, which one family couldn't fault, and a curry sauce described as nice and spicy. Reviewers also mention great portions and a good sauce to meat ratio, and one says the standard never drops after nearly a year of ordering. The main criticism is texture and cooking. Two reviewers found chicken chewy, one with the salted chilli and honey chilli chicken, the other with crispy chicken they could not cut with the sharpest knife and ended up binning. A third said the prawn king po was inedible because the batter was not cooked properly and the sauce had no flavour. One reviewer wanted more veg, and another found the bigger box over priced compared with others. Counter staff are repeatedly called lovely and helpful, and one reviewer had prawns and sauce packed separately on request. Others mention free drinks with their meal, and one owner let a child feed the fish.

“I got out of here when it changed hands from sam, food was good. Lately crispy chicken chewy, can't eat it. Couldn't cut with sharpest knife. Lost a customer as dinner was binned. If keep serving food like this won't last long.”

“Had food from here tonight and it was delicious! Great portions for the price and there was a great sauce to meat ratio. Additionally the staff was very nice and even offered us drinks for no extra cost with our meal. Will definitely order from them again!”

“Got from here for first time tonight, curry sauce was lovely nice and spicy but the salted chilli chicken and honey chilli chicken were really chewy. So disappointing as flavour was lovely. Not much veg in it either”

“The owner was so lovely, he let my daughter feed the fish. Had bottled water and lollies out for customers for free. Such a lovely man and atmosphere. We got the new munchie box for £25. The food was all lovely, we couldn’t fault it especially the salted chilli chips. The only thing I’d say is it’s a bit over priced in comparison to others for a bigger box but other than that it was great! My partner said it was the best Chinese he’s had in a while.”
