  “I wouldn’t recommend this place for children’s haircuts. Unfortunately the customer service was disappointing. They changed the haircut price and then insisted it had always been that amount, making it seem as though I was mistaken. They even said they were doing me a favour because they normally charge more. The whole interaction left a bad impression and made me feel quite uncomfortable. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t return.”

  “After having nearly 2 years of painful experiences of haircuts with my toddler, I found Family Kuts, they were my last hope! What an amazing experience from start to finish. Completely put my toddler at ease and he even sat in the car WITH the gown on which he hasn’t done for quite some time at other places! It was such a lovely haircut too ❤️ thank you!”

  “I took my toddler (18 months) for his second ever haircut this morning and we had a really positive experience. I was able to book a same day appointment and we were seen as soon as we arrived. The hairdresser was lovely and completely put my son at ease. The location is convenient for public transport (right next to the bus stop) and the salon is well-equipped for small children. We will definitely return!”

  “I booked an appointment for my autistic 5-year-old a week in advance as I knew it gets busy and they don’t take walk-ins. We’ve been to Family Kutz before and were happy with the result. The stylist was lovely, asked exactly how long and what style I wanted, and was very patient with my daughter. The salon is very family-friendly with two little car chairs for children to sit in and tablets for them to watch something during the haircut, which really helps. However, when it came to paying, I wasn’t told the price at the time. It wasn’t until I got home that I realised I had been charged £22 for a haircut that took less than 10 minutes – just an inch off the back, a fringe trim, and a quick blow dry. I was shocked. My first visit was £16, then £18, and now suddenly £22. I really wish the price had been made clear beforehand, as it’s extremely pricey for such a short haircut. Men’s barbers and many ladies’ salons charge less. Overall, the haircut and service were good, but the pricing feels steep and should be communicated upfront.”
