“What an amazing visit here today (Fri 10th July) for lunch. Spotlessly clean in all area, excellent choice of inside or outside dining. A menu to tempt any pallet. The food was amazing in taste and speed of delivery. The service from the staff was top class. I had the homemade scotch egg which was to die for. Ham egg n chips for main and then chocolate brownie for dessert.... Eat far too much but it was well worth it! Its been many a year since last went to The Squirrel, but we Will be back again soon.”

“Excellent pub within walking distance of Beech Estate Campsite, with plenty of outdoor seating and a playground right next door - ideal for families. Parents can unwind while the children play safely nearby. During our visit, the staff appeared exceptionally busy, and service was a little stretched, so I ordered drinks directly from the bar. Even so, the team remained warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout. Their positive attitude despite the pressure did not go unnoticed. A great spot for a relaxed drink and a family-friendly outing. Food is overpriced tho. I'd visit again for a drink.”
