  “There are two type of kebab restaurants - the Friday night greasy goodness packed and busy and the big sit down restaurant that is full of all the flavours you expect. In the 30 mile radius of Hastings - Ali's is the only takeaway that gives you the proper quality ingredients and flavours that you'd expect from a big fancy sit down restaurant from the convenience of a simple phone call. What impressed me the most was from the few times I've been inside the restaurant to order the food. They are busy, and I'm not on about the regular Friday night drunk wave busy that you'll expect. they have tables orders, phone orders, app and walk ins, and what Impressed me the most was the symphony of synergy between all crew members working together like a German made watch. Errors will always occur in any business and while I've been sat there patiently waiting, I've seen those calls come in and how quick they are to dispatch their delivery drivers to remedy issues. Ali's Kitchen will always be this fat bastard's choice because you can clearly see the pride they take into serving their food, even when it's hard, they refuse to lower their standards just to meet the rush. 5/5 - honestly, you'll be hard pressed to find better.”

  “I went in for dinner with my family earlier, the restaurant itself was really nice and had a great atmosphere, the lamb doner was really nice and actually really well cooked unlike most kebabs and the younger gentleman that served us was really good, possibly the best service i've ever had.”

  “Fantastic fresh food in this lovely local place. We've eaten in and had take away a few times and the food is always excellent. Awesome Bana Ganoush and Sigara Boregi as well as Chicken and Lamb Shish.”

  “We ordered food for takeaway as we were in a rush, but the food was absolutely delicious. When we asked about baklava, one kind gentleman kindly gave us some as a complimentary dessert, which really made our day. Thank you for the excellent food and wonderful customer service. We truly appreciate the gesture and look forward to ordering again when we visit next time”

  “Unfortunately after my positive review a month ago we ordered again and had a completely different experience. The chicken doners arrived devoid of flavour, with a layer of oil in the bottom of the container, and were accompanied by a small, limp salad box with tomato that was beyond it's use-by-date. Portions had also shrunk by 1/3. Perhaps just an off day as it was so good before.”

  “As one of the places with such big rating we ordered some takeaway and suprisingly we didn’t got what we expected. We payed 69£ for chiken platter and 4 lamb chops (imagine just 4) and it turned out that if we payed just 10£ extra we could get a feast with more than double of what we got. I would have apreciated bit more friendly behavior considering we always order from there when we come to Haven :(”

  “Order no: 945665 on 9/5/24 Firstly hats off to these guys and well done for opening up the most delicious Turkish food place in the area hands down! I should know as I live in London in an area with a very high Turkish community, and have the very best Turkish restaurants in the country on my doorstep. Harringay - if you know you know! No I’m not Turkish so there is no bias here in my review, I’m just a big foodie and lucky to have eaten in the most affluent places and experience flavours from around the world. My palette knows good quality high end food and flavours. Our first time trying from here so we decided to order direct through Alis kitchen online and had no problem with waiting times. We gave it 30 mins before we collected as we were only around the corner and fancied a walk. The food was packaged very well and hot. Please don’t down grade these guys on waiting times like a previous reviewer ordering off of JUST EAT it’s not the restaurants fault you have to wait hours, that’ll be down to JUST EAT or DELIVEROO drivers. But keep in mind the food is cooked fresh to order so if you are a WALK IN then expect a little wait while your food cooks on the coals to perfection. Portion sizes here are very generous, any big burly man will feel satisfied. I ordered the lamb ribs, and was given the meatiest 7 large ribs, my husband had a mix of Chicken shish and kofte and let me tell you the size of the pieces of meat he was given were also huge. The rice and bulgur that came with it was delicious with the flavours of the meat that had been sitting on top seeped into it making it all so tasty. We also ordered a side of Tzatziki which was super fresh and rivalled any Turkish restaurant in London, Harringay. The chilli sauce was also on point I just wish the container for that was a little bigger but that’s because I appreciate a good homemade chilli sauce and it’s never enough for me. The homemade Turkish bread was a nice touch too. In all everything was perfect and we were very full and satisfied. The prices you pay here in my opinion are very reasonable, and match the quality, quantity and taste. Everything was seasoned well and tasty. Do not second guess to eat from here you will not be disappointed. Seriously Ali’s kitchen is up there with the best Turkish restaurants in London and I've tried them ALL. Just appreciate he’s here in st Leonard’s and show him some love Will I be eating from here again - ABSOLUTELY”
