Customer Review Summary
Lasagne is the dish reviewers return to most. One table of seven ordered it six times over, and another reviewer says the kitchen is rightfully proud of it. Carbonara comes close behind, called delightful by one diner, while another switched from it to the lasagne and was glad. Reviewers also praise the seafood, a juicy steak, a basil panna cotta and refreshing mocktails. The setting by the river and bridge gets repeated mention, along with the upstairs balcony and dining room. Service is described as friendly and attentive, with waiters recommending dishes and one who knew the wine and food well. The criticism is mild. One reviewer wished the mussels in a mild broth had more garlic and butter, and another found the meal semi expensive, as expected. One diner who booked online was glad of it on a busy Monday evening. Several describe the owner stopping by to chat and tell stories of his home town in Italy, and one anniversary table was brought lemoncello shots to celebrate.

“This place will hold a special place in my heart. My husband screwed up the reservation time for our dinner on a Saturday night and they still found us a table. The food was amazing, service impeccable, and it helped us to see a different section of bath. 10/10.”

“I lived in Bath for a whole year and somehow never discovered this place! I found it by chance when I came back to visit, and absolutely loved everything about it. The setting is beautiful and relaxing, the food is authentic and delicious, and the service was wonderful. I also had such a lovely chat with the owner, who was incredibly friendly, and Kuba was so warm and welcoming too. Such a wonderful experience — I only wish I’d found this place sooner! ☺️🤍”

“A really excellent experience. I booked online which was simple. I am glad i did because it was busy for a Monday evening. When we got there we went straight to the table. The gentleman which served us was really knowledgeable about the wine and the food. When the food arrived it was delicious and served very hot. It was semi expensive which I expected it would be. All in very good I would definitely recommend going.”
