About Indian Temptation
Indian Temptation is a fully vegetarian Indian restaurant in Bath, at 9-10 High St, with a separate vegan menu for guests who eat no dairy. The kitchen cooks Northern and Southern Indian dishes and adds a few British favourites. The Grand Thali is a set platter, and a vegan version comes with a sweet. Chaat and dosa sit alongside the curries, and the Temptation naan is one of the breads. The bar mixes handcrafted cocktails and pours local cider. Window seats in the city centre room give views of the nearby church and Abbey.

“Had lunch at Indian Temptation in Bath and tried their Grand Thali — absolutely amazing! One of the best thalis I’ve had in England. The service was excellent, and the views were fantastic too, making the whole experience even better. It was also lovely to meet the owners and hear about how much hard work, passion and determination has gone into building this place. It’s genuinely great to see passionate people doing things properly and succeeding in business. Their story, dedication and love for what they do really came through. Please do support businesses like this. When you find people who are passionate about their food, their customers and what they’re building, they deserve our support. ❤️ Highly recommended! 👏”
