“Propper old school pub. Wood paneled walls, historic building. Cash only. It's defo got a locals feel to it, but staff are really great and everyone is friendly. In this day and age its a refreshing asset to a town to have a no nonsense, clean, place with charm and character to sit down for an hour whilst out shopping. Use it before uou loose it.”

“A traditional British pub, the locals seem quite tame and are friendly. Please note all you card warriors, this is a cash only pub. Adequate range of ales, unfortunately not so the cider, one draft offering of Cornish cider which is outrageous considering all the local Devon ciders made around here, however the atmosphere makes up for this oversight.”

“Decent pub for casual drinks in the quiet hours and partying alongside others on busier nights, although they don't stock my top choices of Cider, whenever I choose to drink here. Nevertheless, it's a safe pub to drink in, as I've hardly ever seen any trouble there in all of my years of going out and following local news, compared to other venues in our town!”
