Customer Review Summary
The complaints are serious and recur. Several describe a chaotic, overcrowded room where takeaway orders compete with dine-in tables. One party was asked to move after their starters for a larger group and was offered a free drink. Another waited so long for mains and noodles that they sent a cold main back and had it taken off the bill, with no apology. One reviewer describes being shouted at over a wrong dish, a wrongly named house wings order and bland food, while a takeaway promised in half an hour became an hour before all takeaways were cancelled.

“Very enjoyable meal. Stsrters and mains were excellent. Only gripe being charged £3 for prawn crackers which I have never been charged for.”

“We visited Jade Palace last weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had an amazing meal, the food was absolutely delicious 😋, we had quite a few starters between two of us, as we couldn't decide on one each, we couldnt eat them all!🤣 We shared a main course which we had with noodles and beansprouts but didnt manage to eat all that either! But we were more than happy to take a doggy bag home for the following day👍. The staff were all super friendly and smily and couldn't do enough for us. We very much look forward to our next visit. Thanks again for a fabulous meal.”

“After the last time, we said we wouldn’t visit again, however, it was my father in laws birthday & he loves the place. Table booked for 6pm on a Saturday night, was quiet when we arrived. Very quickly got over crowded & chaotic. Starters came out & were nice. Main courses took forever to come & everyone on our table received them at different times. After asking 3 times where the noodles were to accompany my now cold main course I was asked if I could wait 2 more minutes before they were served. I told them to take my main course back & take it off the bill. By which time, the rest of the table had practically finishing eating. We didn’t even get an apology. Looks like they cram too many people in & can’t keep up, as well as people collecting take aways. The staff are literally running around. Never again!”

“Very dissapointed. We booked a table for 6:30 for 3 people. It was chaotic ,after we had our starters they came and asked us to move !! They needed our table for another larger party. Just unbelievable . We complained and they offered us a free drink. The whole place was over crowded, noisey and a horrible experience. We will never go back. We gave it a second go as back in the summer we ordered a take away,we told it would be half an hour,so went to collect ,only to be told it would be an hour. Then waited with other unhappy customers ,only to be told they were cancelling all take aways. Never again !!!!”
