About Reel Plaice
Reel Plaice is a fish and seafood takeaway on Bath Place in Ayr, set a short walk from the main beach. The kitchen prepares food fresh to order, and the counter staff source their seafood locally and ethically, with the supplier information written out in the shop for customers to read. The menu covers a wide choice of fish options, including a children's meal, and orders are filled for both takeaway and eating in, though sit-in customers pay a small extra charge and food is served in disposable containers. Sauces are sold separately. Service runs on a walk-in basis, with no reservations taken, and car parks in the surrounding area handle visitors arriving by car.

“Tasty and convenient fish and chips shop. Seem to source their fish locally and ethically as written down. Next to the Ayr main beach. Would come again if visiting the town. Can park in the surrounding car parks. A little bit pricey but I don't mind if the quality is better than average. Sauces not included and to pay separately for them.”
