Customer Review Summary

Diners most often single out the Murgi Jaflongi as a standout, with multiple calling it the best curry they’ve had. Close behind are the lamb Dupiaza, Vegetable Sambar, and Roshun rice, praised for rich flavour and a lighter, non-greasy finish, while the garlic and coriander naan and Bhindi also earn repeated mention for perfect preparation. Several describe the staff as friendly, prompt, and welcoming, and note the complimentary shot of Baileys at the end of the meal. Takeaway service draws recurring complaints, with multiple reviewers reporting very long waits, missing items, and cold food on arrival, particularly on busy nights; one describes the Rogan Josh as tasting like jarred sauce. A few also say the food has declined in recent orders. Several suggest the dine-in experience remains consistently strong.

We've had 3 take aways from RR over the last few weeks and are absolutely blown away by how great it all is. Super fresh, super tastie, very fair priced and the delivery man is also a …

Posting re takeaway. New Year’s Eve: Ordered via their online service at 6.22 - the site stated an 80 minute wait. We know they are often late and understand it’s a busy night, so didn’t expect anything until about 8.00. At 8.22 (2 hours after ordering) still nothing so I called them and was told it was ‘on its way’. 20 mins later (it’s a 5 min drive) I called again and the driver arrived while I was on the phone - 2 hours 20 mins after ordering. Ate our starter and went to eat our main - now 9.05 pm, only to find it was missing an item. Husband rang to get it delivered at 9.07 - it’s now 9.33 and it still isn’t here - 3 hours and 11 minutes after ordering. The food is amazing, but these guys take on more than they can manage and therefore the takeaway service is very poor.

So New Year’s Eve we expect to be busy fair enough , was a hour and twenty wait delivery time was ok with this , got to an hour a 45 mins so called and was told it was on its way ! Ok we understand it’s New Year’s Eve …. 20 mins later still not here , called back sorry we’re waiting for the driver ?? But we was told it was on its way 20 mins ago , well sorry I got mixed up ….. arrived 3 hours after online order . Tonight we ordered again 70 mins delivery , arrived 2.5 hours later , was told they only have one driver … how can a buisness which is classed as very busy only have one driver ,food was quite disgusting the rogan Josh tasted like a jarred curry sauce , really disappointed and will not be ordering again !

My partner and I went on a Friday evening, the staff and service were friendly, prompt and welcoming. My partner had the lamb Dupiaza and I had Vegetable Sambar, both of the main dishes were excellent, well cooked and flavourful. We shared a garlic and coriander naan and some Roshun rice (garlic and coriander) which was hands down the best Indian rice I have ever had. No ghee is used so it's much healthier and in no way shape or form too greasy or oily, which is a huge bonus. We had one side of Bhindi (okra) which was also cooked to perfection. Can't fault the place or the staff and we will be back on a more regular basis. Absolute gem of a place. Veggie/vegan or meat eaters alike are very well catered for. We had a drink each, not too pricey, all came in under £40! Fully recommend trying it out!

How this listing is sourced

Where the data comes from
Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
How it stays current
Every listing is re-checked on a recurring crawl, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
How it is ranked
Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
