About Paper Duck World Buffet
Paper Duck World Buffet is a buffet restaurant in Ashford town centre, on North St, serving Chinese, Indian, Nepalese and pan-Asian dishes. The spread labels each dish with its contents, so diners can see what they are choosing before they serve themselves. Seafood includes salt and pepper king prawns and mussels and prawns, and the dessert selection covers cake, jelly and ice cream. The restaurant also offers Too Good To Go bags alongside the buffet, a second way to buy its food for people who use that app. It is open daily. There is no dedicated parking, but several car parks sit nearby.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the variety across the buffet, with Chinese, Indian and pan Asian dishes described as hot and fresh, and refilled quickly when a tray runs out. Salt and pepper king prawns draw particular praise, and mussels and prawns are called cooked to perfection. One regular who isn't vegetarian says they almost always choose the vegetarian dishes, and a few mention a pudding spread of cake, jelly and ice cream. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly, with one family noting how readily they ask about allergies and dietary needs, and another noting how they interact with children. The criticisms are small but specific. One reviewer finds the drinks a little expensive and says parts of the dining room need some TLC, and another regrets that there was no draft beer. Diners also describe a very clean dining area and plentiful portions. One Too Good To Go customer left with extra ice cream and pots, because the staff said it would otherwise go in the bin.

“Went in on 19 July 26 at around 5pm after work. Absolutely lovely food such a lovely atmosphere. The food was amazing such a great choice. I tried foods I'd not tried before and loved them. All food was hot and fresh and plenty of it. My drink was at the table when I went to sit back down. I should have left room for desert lol. Outstanding visit and I felt relaxed and chilled after a long warm day at work. The restaurant area was very very clean and no mess left by other customers just sitting around. So it was cleaned up very quickly. The staff were amazing so friendly and kind I Will definitely visit again”

“Delicious buffet style dinner, so many options to choose from and each dish was prepared to perfection. Very happy and pleased with service, all staff was kind and friendly, and went the extra mile while we dined with Paper Duck World Ashford. Thanks so much, I’ll definitely be returning with friends and family! :)”

“The best buffet resturant in Ashford, with the most beautiful variety of pan asian food. All fresh and very well seasoned. The desert selection was another unexpected surprise. There is something for everyone and the service i received from an immpecable man in a suit and another supermodel man just made the experience 100 times better. I live in London but come just for experience.”

“Used to go here a lot when I was a kid, then it was put under new management and it went down hill - now that it’s back under new management again it’s absolutely amazing, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the chef had actually cooked dishes that weren’t available due to low customer count at the time specifically for me and my family. The food quality is amazing, especially for the price; drinks are a little bit expensive but, they have to get their money somewhere. The only thing I’d say is that certain areas around the dinning room just need a bit of TLC. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend Paper Duck to anyone, amazing food and very filling. I hope more people come to realise it’s a good place to dine at now as, it would be sad to see it go again, especially now that it’s become so much better.”

“I've been visiting Paperduck for quite some time now, and it has become one of my favourite places to eat. The ambience is lovely, and the staff consistently provide excellent customer service. They are friendly, courteous, attentive, and genuinely care about making sure their customers have an enjoyable experience. I've never left feeling disappointed, which is why I continue to return and happily recommend it to others. One thing I particularly appreciate is how accommodating they are with dietary requirements. My family has a number of dietary needs due to both health conditions and religious beliefs, and the staff are always proactive in asking about allergies and other requirements. They take the time to ensure everyone can enjoy their meal with confidence, which means a great deal to us. The vegetarian options deserve a special mention. There is an excellent selection, with plenty of variety and interesting flavours. The dishes are far from boring, and although I'm not a vegetarian myself, I almost always choose one of the vegetarian meals because they're so delicious—usually alongside another dish! The restaurant itself is always spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Whether it's a hot summer's day with the air conditioning keeping the restaurant cool, or the colder months when it's warm and welcoming, the environment is always pleasant and relaxing. It's somewhere you can enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. Paper duck is in the heart of Ashford town centre, making it easy to reach whether you're travelling by bus, train, or car. While there isn't dedicated parking at the restaurant itself, there are several nearby car parks, and there are disabled parking spaces just outside, making access much easier for those who need them. The food is consistently of a high standard, the prices are fair for the quality and portion sizes, and the customer service is exceptional. It's clear the team takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every visit. I look forward to returning many more times and would highly recommend Paper duck to anyone looking for excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding service.”
