  “We had a terrific dining experience at Aspendos. From the moment we arrived, the service was attentive, friendly and welcoming, making us feel completely at home. The food was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious, with plenty of choice to satisfy both my daughter, who is vegan, and me, a committed meat eater! Everything we ordered was full of flavour and beautifully cooked. A wonderful meal and a great experience all round. Thank you, Aspendos — it was brilliant!”

  “Absolutely love the food at Aspendos Ashford. We have eaten from here a number of times and I generally go for the Family Special — it has never disappointed. The amount of food is very generous and the variety is brilliant. The grilled meats are the highlight for me — lamb chops, ribs and chicken, all beautifully cooked, tender and full of flavour. The rice and bulgur go really well with the meat, and you get plenty of fresh bread, salad and dips alongside it. The hummus is particularly good, and I also really enjoy the olives. Everything tastes fresh and properly prepared rather than just being thrown together. The Family Special is especially good when you have a few people eating together because there is plenty to share and everyone can try different things. And you really shouldn’t finish without trying the baklava. It is absolutely lovely — sweet, rich and just what you need after all that grilled meat. Their Turkish desserts are a perfect way to finish the meal. Really scrumptious food and consistently enjoyable. Definitely one of my favourite places for Turkish food in Ashford. Highly recommended.”

  “I ate here a few weeks ago. I am vegan. I called a week before my meal to check that they have vegan options, which they confirmed. On the day of the meal, I looked at the menu and could only see vegetarian options. I asked what options could be made vegan and I was given two options. I ordered those two options and made it clear that they needed to be vegan. Anyway my food comes out and I take a bite and realise it’s got real cheese all over it. I asked the waitress to confirm if it was vegan, to which she changed her mind and stated it is “veggie”. I asked if she could check that it is vegan and has no animal products. She went into the kitchen and after a while, came back and told me that there are no vegan options on the menu. Thankfully, they took the meal off the bill but not only am I vegan, but I have a dairy allergy. Everyone I was there with had a lovely meal. I just wouldn’t go back again as someone with dietary requirements.”

  “Absolutely disgusting food shocking service and man cooking food needs to be more observant on wot he is cooking and quality of his meat clearly not a chef the meat was over cooked and all bone and tasted like mutton shocking Paid in full very confrontational regarding our honest review on food the way it was cooked manger lady just stood and laughed thought it was a joke absolutely shocking very aggressive staff Spend your hard earned money else where awaiting response from owner my truthful review ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING 😳”
