Customer Review Summary
Cooked breakfast is what most reviewers come for, and one self-described breakfast connoisseur calls it one of the best they have had for quality and presentation. Diners single out the eggs and the fried toast, the option to build their own plate, and hot food on big warmed plates, delivered to the table quickly even on a busy day. Close behind is the Sunday lunch with all the trimmings, which one reviewer says is very popular and suggests ringing to preorder. Portions are described as big and the value as good. Staff are repeatedly called pleasant, friendly and chatty, and several mention a clean room and clean toilets, with one noting staff regularly wiping down surfaces and kitchen appliances. The one criticism comes from a reviewer who found the bacon far too thick, like eating gammon, and said their family prefers regular, crunchy bacon. Otherwise the reaction is warm, and one regular says they often leave happy and in a food coma.

“Nice little cafe that serves your normal stuff. A few things are great though, like their eggs and their fried toast for example 😋 I only have one MINOR criticism... The bacon is seriously too thick, It's like eating gammon. I guess some people would see this as a plus point, but it's not for me and my family unfortunately. (We prefer regular thickness/crunchy fat bacon.) Aside from the bacon/gammon, it's a great place to eat and I would (and do) recommend anyone in the area who wants a fry up give them a try.”
