“Food poisoning from what I can only believe to be the fish on Thursday night. The overpowering smell of fish before taking it out the bag should have been a red flag. It was all mushy inside the batter and not firm flakes. Stupidly ate half of it. The next afternoon I was crapping and vomiting like nobodies business. Thanks 👌🏼”

“As far as “your local chippy” goes jimmy’s has genuinely stolen the show in my eyes. After years of trying chippies from Cornwall to the highlands. Jimmy’s has topped my overall list. The fish itself was flakey, soft and fresh solid 9/10. The batter was different but I liked it 8/10. The curry sauce… wow…. 10/10 amazing. Jimmy’s is a lovely place and I highly recommend the drive from wherever you are. We drive half an hour out the way for jimmys now. Price was reasonable and staff are very helpful and generally just nice folk.”

“Good service, nice people. However the food was very disappointing. Its not surprising they don't specify what fish is in the "fish and chips". It was mushy and flavourless. Even though it looked freshly cooked, the batter was chewy and soggy. Chips were okay but noy crispy and got a few that tasted a bit off. Would not come here again, very disappointed and a waste of money.”
