  “This place was so great from start to finish. When I entered the doors Nabil greeted me with enthusiasm and professionalism. My waiter Sage was so on point, even with him being quite busy. Even the manager Colby stopped by to ensure we were having a great experience. Houston is saturated with good restaurants however to find a place with quality crafted drinks, amazing food, inviting aesthetics, great prices, and top tier staff, this is rare. The hype is real and so worth it.”

  “Food was very good. The guacamole was cold and refreshing. The cheeseburger was delicious and the sesame seed bun was a nice twist. Truffle fries were crispy. The hostess needed an attitude adjustment. That role is the first impression in a restaurant and had I owned the place, she would have been escorted out the door. We arrived 5 minutes before opening and were bluntly told the restaurant opens at 11. No offer to stand in the foyer where there is a/c, or "can I offer you a water while you wait?" Nothing. ...and when seated, we were taken to the sit near the service area and restroom entrance. It felt intentional. That's fine because there are locations other than Rice Village to go to. Alternatively, the wait staff was wonderful.”

  “Amazing food and excellent service! Jennifer was such a delight to have as a server for our party of 12. She was patient and attentive and helped me make a decision on the French Chicken with truffle parm fries! The chicken was well seasoned and moist!   “Hudson House is an absolute lunch favorite and delivers on every level…from the atmosphere to the food and service. The vibe is lively yet comfortable, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch that still feels elevated. The dynamite shrimp was superb: crispy, flavorful, and tossed in the perfect sauce that balanced heat and sweetness beautifully. The French Chicken was another standout, packed with rich, savory flavor and cooked perfectly. Every bite felt comforting yet refined, making it one of those dishes you immediately want to order again. And the burger…Absolutely delicious with a nostalgic, indulgent Big Mac-esque vibe…but elevated in the best possible way. Juicy, flavorful, and stacked perfectly, it’s a burger that fully lives up to the hype. Combined with attentive service and a polished atmosphere, Hudson House delivers an outstanding dining experience that makes it easy to see why it’s such a popular spot.”

  “Came to Hudson House for the first time to celebrate my boyfriend's 35th birthday, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the French toast, spicy tuna, and the homemade ginger ale, and every single thing was absolutely delicious. The flavors were amazing, and everything came out fresh and perfectly prepared. A huge shoutout to our waitress, Hailey! She provided exceptional customer service—she was attentive, professional, friendly, and gave us great recommendations throughout our meal. We ended with the key lime pie for dessert, and let me tell you... I am NOT a citrus dessert person, but babyyyyy... that pie was ridiculously good! It was perfectly balanced, creamy, and hands down one of the best desserts I've had. 10/10 experience from the food to the service. We'll definitely be back!”

  “Hayley was absolutely AMAZING! She was so sweet, attentive, and genuinely made our dining experience even better. She checked on our table frequently without ever being intrusive, making sure we had everything we needed the entire time. Her warm, pleasant demeanor made us feel so welcome, and you can tell she truly cares about her guests. She deserved every bit of her tip and then some! Great service like hers is hard to find. My friend and I will definitely be back and honestly, we’ll be coming back just for Hayley. Hudson House is lucky to have her!”

  “I've dined at Hudson House many times, but our experience with Iyana yesterday truly stood out. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and I think that's what really elevated our dining experience. She described dishes in detail, answered every question thoroughly, and did it in a way that was informative without feeling like a long sales pitch. She was such an enjoyable waitress friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. While reading through other reviews, I noticed her name mentioned several times, and after our visit, I completely understand why. Hudson House is already a fantastic restaurant, but Iyana is a wonderful addition to the team. She mentioned she's newer, and I sincerely hope she's there for a long time. We were part of a fairly large party, and I noticed her constantly moving throughout the restaurant, taking care of multiple tables inside and outside. Even with how busy she clearly was, she never once made us feel overlooked or rushed. She made us feel like a priority from beginning to end. It was such a sweet, professional, and refreshing experience. We'll absolutely be asking for Iyana the next time we visit.”
