  “Los Tacos No. 1 at Chelsea Market is the best taco spot in New York City! We ordered the steak and pork tacos as well as the chips and guacamole. Everything was so authentic and flavorful! We visited on a Saturday at lunch. It was busy with a long line, but the line went pretty quick. It was really cool watching them prepare the tacos while we waited! It’s counter service with minimal seating options at the counter. However, Chelsea Market has several seating options throughout the building, and we easily found a table to eat at. Highly recommend Los Tacos No. 1, and can’t wait to visit again soon!”

  “Food was absolutely great. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even though English isn’t our first language, they patiently explained the menu and happily shared recommendations. The delicious dim sum and warm hospitality made the wait completely worthwhile.”

  “Every time we visited Chelsea Market, Los Tacos , had an incredibly long line, so we assumed it had to be amazing. During our most recent visit, the crowd was manageable, and we decided to give it a try. We ordered the vegetarian grilled cactus taco. The taco was fresh, the cactus was nicely grilled, and the flavors were enjoyable. However, it didn’t quite live up to the hype created by the long lines we’ve always seen. For the size of the taco, the price also felt a bit on the higher side. That said, if you’re already at Chelsea Market and craving authentic-style tacos, it’s still worth trying once and deciding for yourself.”

  “GO HERE. I’d say they’re authentic Mexican tacos I got the Nopales tacos. The green and red salsas are delicious and perfect spicy (proceed with caution 🔥). The vibe is so fun and the service was 10/10. Thank you for the bomb tacos, Byron and team!”

  “Big line and big expectations as this place is very hyped up! The atmosphere was cool - the taco making in front of us was a good experience and seeing the meat cooking and assembling felt very authentic. The self serve station for sauce and pico de gallo was also good. It is just kinda overhyped; the tacos are good but for the wait and price I’m not sure if it’s worth it or if I’d bother coming back in a rush”

  “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tacos No. 1 at Chelsea Market was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Salvador did an incredible job managing the line while making every customer feel welcome. He went above and beyond by offering us complimentary nachos and guacamole to try, and they were absolutely delicious! The food was fresh, flavorful, and some of the best tacos I’ve had. I highly recommend the adobada tacos—they were hands down my favorite and are a must-try. If you’re visiting Chelsea Market, don’t miss Tacos No. 1. Great food, exceptional customer service, and an overall fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

  “This was the 2nd los tacos no. 1 we went to. The tacos are a bit pricey but they are delicious. That being said at Chelsea's Market there is NO seating. Yes I get it its New York its going to be crowded. But no seating at all. So you basically have no way to enjoy the food you spent a pretty penny on. We got kicked out of the bar where we were standing. A lady put the sign in front of my face. Then we got kicked out of the burger and shakes place too. They said we could not eat there unless we ordered a burger and fries. We threw away a couple of tacos bec the experience got ruined. Los Tacos No. 1 is popular how can they have No seating?”

  “There is always a line for this place but it moves quickly. We tried lots of the menu, but I would say the chicken adado mula was my favourite. I've never had a mula before, its like a soft shell taco sandwich. I had two and that was too much, so one would be fine.”
