“We took our son in for a haircut before school starts and showed the stylist photos of his previous haircut so she could see what we wanted. We specifically stated that he did not want it cut short. My son has curly hair that was past his nose, we asked for the front to be cut just below his eyes so that when it curled it would sit around eye level. We also asked for a low taper in the back. Unfortunately, that is not what he received. Instead, she gave him a high taper and cut the front approximately 2 inches shorter than we requested, leaving it about half an inch above his eyebrows. All of his hair is about 2 inches shorter than we asked for. Once his hair dries and curls, it will sit well above the middle of his forehead which is way shorter than what we asked for. The haircut is also uneven and choppy in several places. She cut all of the curl out. We expressed that his hair was cut much shorter than what we asked for and instead of listening to our concerns, she became argumentative and insisted it wasn't that short. My son got in the car and cried because he hated the haircut. He's about to start high school in 2 weeks and is now embarrassed and dreading going back because he doesn't like how it looks. We will not be returning here again. Our experience was extremely disappointing, not only because the stylist failed to follow our clear instructions and the reference photos, but also because of how our concerns were handled afterward. Also sadly this is not our first negative experience, we brought our other son in about 2 weeks ago and left unhappy. The included picture is what we showed her and stated we wanted it to be a little longer than (top) versus what we got (bottom)”
