  “I visited Elite Nails after my previous scheduled appointment was a mess again. I had a great experience at Elite. Thus is my second visit after my appointment mishaps at another salon. Sophia was experienced, gentle, friendly, conversational, and really listened to what I wanted. She shaped my nails perfectly, and I love the color and design. My pedicure was so relaxing, and my toes look beach-ready and beautiful. This truly made my day after my previous salon appointment scheduled this morning didn’t work out.   “I came here on 7/5/25, for the first time, for a builder/liquid gel fill. I have had either acrylic or builder gel overlay on my natural nails for years. Until recently, the same person has been doing my nails for the past 5 years, but I moved, so I came to Elite for my fill. I don’t have pictures of the fill that was done, but was BAD. However, not as bad was what was brewing underneath the builder/liquid gel. I decided to make the drive back to my usual nail tech, because I didn’t want to run the risk of having another bad nail job. To make it easier for my nail tech, I started drilling off some the gel. I had no idea the horror that was waiting for me. I have NEVER experienced anything like this, and I have been getting my nails done for over 25 years now. I have always taken pride in not needing tips, since I have been blessed to have had nail techs that actual cared about keeping my natural nails healthy. I don’t know if the liquid gel they used was contaminated because there was fungus underneath the gel where there was NO LIFTING. I am so grateful that I can still get to my nail tech via my car, because otherwise, I wouldn’t know what to do. I’m terrified at this point to let anyone in Mebane touch my nails. I’m grateful that I have a strong immune system, and that I didn’t get a more severe infection, and that my nails are still attached to my fingers. Do not go here. Save your nails, and try somewhere else…where, I can’t tell you because my nail tech works out of her house.”
