“I have been going to this salon for about a year now but I guess since new management has taken over, the vibe feels off. Normally, there is a lot of chatting between nail technician and clients but the last two times I have been in there hasn't been. About 2 weeks ago, I got a rushed pedicure and a painful manicure. The drill/sander was used the entire time even for cuticles and I got burned a couple of times. Today, I went in for a gel manicure and I'm not sure if nail technician was inexperienced but it took 2 hours 45 mins for a gel manicure with minimal design.. (sparkle polish on the bottom and top of nail). When making the appointment I asked for nail technicians I used in the past and they were all either not working or attending to family emergencies. I feel like policy should be if the technician can't do the design confidently then the client should not be placed with that technician. I had an appointment but called to see if I could come an hour early and was told yes but again, I would have been happy to come back to a more confident technician. Side note, I was told by the girl at check out that someone could fix my nails for me because she didn't feel like my technician did a good job.”
