  “I love my nails every time I come here. I’ve been going for years and never get the same person but always get the best service. I usually get SNS manicures and gel pedicures. Always have great results and I NEVER have to wait. I know they are no frills, but every technician uses the same steps which is rare for a nail salon. In the 4 years I’ve been going here and having a different technician each time, only once have they chipped. That is very rare for a a nail salon! My nails always last 2-3 weeks and I only have to go back because they’ve grown out. Excellent nails everytime”

  “I’ve been a regular customer here, but after my experience yesterday, I don’t plan on returning. The technician who worked on me was unprofessional and rushed through everything. During the pedicure, there was no proper massage, and for the manicure, she didn’t even soak my hands before starting. She also didn’t wear a mask despite sniffing constantly and using her arm to wipe her nose, which was very unhygienic and gross. She didn’t wear gloves while working on my manicure, which made me uncomfortable. I felt the need to wash my hands twice afterward to avoid germs. The polish was poorly applied with visible gaps near the cuticles, which I hate. She kept stopping during the manicure to check her phone, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful. To top it off, when I politely asked the owner for a glass of water, I was told they didn’t have any. Whether or not he noticed that I’m six months pregnant, most places offer beverages as a courtesy to clients—it might be time for them to adopt that standard. Overall, I was very disappointed with this visit.”

  “I visited this nail salon this evening with a group of eight women, all of whom had scheduled appointments. My service was a very basic pedicure without polish, so my experience was fairly uneventful. Unfortunately, that was not the case for one of my friends. The pedicure she received was subpar and rushed, and her manicure was even worse. For a basic polish and manicure, it took over an hour. During the process, the technician touched one of her nails, smudging the polish, and walked away without acknowledging or attempting to fix it. When she finally returned and we politely pointed it out, she redid the nail — but after 30 minutes of trying to dry it, it was still not properly set. When we brought this to the attention of the owner, the response was both unprofessional and dismissive. Rather than addressing the situation kindly and taking accountability for the employee’s mistake, the owner acted inconvenienced and was unnecessarily rude. To make matters worse, after all of this, my friend got home only to find that all of her nails were ruined. If you are looking for quality service, attention to detail, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend Dream Nails in Gastonia instead.”

They also never question when I bring my young daughter in always giving her princess treatment:) Highly recommend!”

  “Excellent service and incredible nails! They were amazing at helping me set up an appointment and very nice on the phone. When I arrived they sat me down after I signed in and the appointment was very quick. It only took about 20 minutes for a gel manicure and I love the color. Usually some nail salons are rather pricey but when I went to pay, it was very affordable and I really did expect it to be more. I will be coming back here from now on. The experience was wonderful!”

  “I have been going to Lucky Nail Spa for several years. Everyone is friendly and does a good job. The salon is clean and does not have that strong nail product odor that a lot of other salons have. Kai does amazing work and always makes my nails look fabulous! The pedicures are so good too!”
