About Lavender Nails & Spa
Lavender Nails & Spa is a nail salon on Marshalee Dr in Elkridge, offering pedicures, dip powder, and nail design. Each pedicure begins with a foot soak, and the salon provides towels as part of the service. Clients can book dip powder work alongside custom nail design in the same visit, with appointments arranged for a specific technician when requested. Appointments are recommended, though walk-ins may be accepted for those without one. The salon opens daily, giving flexibility for scheduling throughout the week. Between the foot-soak pedicures, the dip powder options, and the ability to request a preferred technician, the salon covers a fairly full range of standard nail services within one location on Marshalee Dr.

Customer Review Summary
Spa pedicures draw the most consistent praise, with reviewers repeatedly singling out one nail technician's foot and leg massage as "one of the most wonderful, relaxing pedicures" they've had. Close behind, nail designs and dip powder sets earn similar loyalty, with several diners naming that same technician's speed, patience, and attention to detail, and one describing switching salons specifically to see her after a disappointing dip powder elsewhere. Clean towels and a tidy, welcoming space come up often too. Set against this is a recurring complaint about appointments not being honored: multiple reviewers describe being seated to soak, then left waiting with no technician available, one recounting being swapped to an unbooked technician and misled about it, and another, late in pregnancy, leaving without service after a long wait. One reviewer also attributes a recent decline in quality to a change in ownership or management. The strongest visits end with reviewers naming their technician directly and vowing to return with friends and family.

“I had an appointment at Lavender Nail & Spa, and this was my second disappointing experience. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, they had me soak my feet in the bowl for about 15 minutes. I sat there waiting, expecting someone to come start my service, but no one ever did. Eventually, when I got up to leave I was told there wasn’t anyone available to do my nails even though I had an appointment. What made the situation even more upsetting was that I watched other customers, who appeared to have arrived around the same time, being helped while I was left waiting. The staff also seemed selective about who they greeted and acknowledged. I didn’t feel welcomed, respected, or valued as a customer. After experiencing this twice, I won’t be returning. If you accept appointments, you should honor them or at least communicate honestly instead of having customers wait with no intention of providing the service. Every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect.”

“I’m almost 40 weeks pregnant and simply wanted to get my nails done before delivering my baby. Before coming in, I specifically asked how long the wait would be because standing and sitting for long periods is difficult at this stage of pregnancy. I was told the nail technician was “cashing out right now” and would be with me shortly. Instead, I was asked to soak my feet for a pedicure and waited for about 30 minutes. Then I was told my nail technician was ready, but after being seated, I was left waiting even longer. Eventually, I became so frustrated that I paid for my pedicure and left without getting my nails done. Against my better judgment, I gave them another chance and scheduled an appointment for the very next day with a specific technician. When I arrived, they seated me and then moved me to another station with someone I did not book. Because I was a new customer, it honestly felt like they assumed I wouldn’t know the difference and tried to convince me that this was the technician I had scheduled with. It wasn’t. The technician they placed me with clearly wasn’t prepared and didn’t seem to know what they were doing. The quality of the work was unacceptable, and I left extremely disappointed. What bothered me most wasn’t just the poor service—it was the dishonesty. They repeatedly told me someone was “almost ready” just to keep me from leaving, and then tried to pass off a different technician as the one I had requested. As someone who is nine months pregnant, I was hoping for one relaxing self-care appointment before welcoming my baby. Instead, I left stressed, frustrated, and feeling like my time didn’t matter. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this salon.”

“Tried Lavender Nails salon today for the first time for a pedicure. The place is clean and nice; loved their good towels (i really don’t like salons where they use worn out towels). I had Zoey as my nail tech and overall I was very happy …”

“I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I believe the ownership or management may have changed, because the quality has clearly declined. A few weeks ago, I specifically booked a pedicure appointment with Jessica. When …”
