  “My favorite place to stop by for lunch or take out in Chinatown is Perilla. I buy the rolled egg and banchan in bulk to last me the week. Garlic cold noodles, gimpap and avocado and mentaiko over rice is my ultimate comfort meal. Warmest service and all dishes are crafted with outmost love.”

  “Had the opportunity to discover this place on TooGoodToGo and will definitely come back to try the whole menu! The kimbap is absolutely wonderful. Damn good fresh veg and a clear step above anything I’ve had from a Korean market. What really makes it awesome is the hot mustard vinegar sauce on the side that provides just the right zip to keep things really interesting. I also love the garlic noodles - wonderfully chewy yet soft with plenty of flavor. Lastly, the chicken has a great char and crust that’s still juicy while having the great texture of what you’d expect from great grilled chicken. It comes coated in this savory umami dust that I believe is nori + dried anchovies. Having it with the garlic noodles that’s coated in a wonderful sesame oil vinaigrette makes it super addicting. This is a perfect stop before a Dodgers game, picnic at any of the nearby parks, or bring your own food into the Hollywood Bowl.”

  “We love coming here for a quick lunch or to grab some banchan. There’s a few shops that share a patio area and it’s a cute spot to go to. The cod dosirak is a must order! The cod is super flavorful and has the softest texture. My favorite banchan to pick up is the rolled egg!”

  “Tasty but expensive, for having all the food premade it's more expensive than I would recommend. We got the garlic noodles, the gimbap, the sesame green beans and the sweet potato jorim. Everything was very tasty. Our favorite was the green beans and the garlic noodles.”

  “One of the best kimchis I have ever had. Spicy beef was actually sweet with a lot of sauce. Wasn’t for me, but I can see why people love it. Gimbap was fantastic. Cucumber yuzu drink was great as well. …”

  “Some really great Korean banchan here. Got the gimbap, rolled egg, and the dosirak cod lunch box. The gimbap was full of fresh ingredients, the rolled egg a fun shape with seaweed on the inside, and the cod lightly grilled while still super tender. The cod is very much like Nobu famed black cod miso. Only wish the lunch box had a marinated egg since we already bought a rolled egg banchan. Service was made to order. The atmosphere was casual.”
