  “Last Friday was my first visit. Got 1 drink and 1 water. The drink was good. The next night I visited after a concert and after Ziggy's Magic Pizza Shop sold out of their slices. I was hopeful the kitchen at The Kettle Black Kitchen & Pub was still open at 11:30PM. It had just closed. I was disappointed because Google says this business is open Saturday until 2:00AM going into Sunday morning. I just left. I was in search of munches, specifically onion rings as I was staying in a hotel and my fridge only contained a bottled water and 16oz Monster energy drink. Overall though, this is a nice Pub and I saw what the kitchen cooked up on Friday night. You get what you pay for. Those prices aren't high based on what's on your plate. When I'm back in PHX, I'll be stopping by The Kettle Black Kitchen & Pub for a 3rd time.”

  “I don't usually leave reviews but maybe I should start because this was amazing. I had $17 philly cheesesteak fries and a $9 glass of wine. We went late so even though the bar was still open, the kitchen closing soon and they STILL made the fries look so presentable with a perfect ratio of beef, cheese, onion, peppers and fries. I didn't feel like there was too much or too little of anything. And they didn't skimp out on the cheese it was COVERED which I loved. Even as leftovers the next day, they still tasted just as good which is insane. The wine was also great and paired well with it and the server was such a sweet woman who even told me and friend to make sure we get home safe after we were leaving since it was late at night. :) I can't wait to try more things from here again. On top of that, it's so cozy and beautiful inside.”

  “Fun pub not far from Mortgage Match-up Arena. Have been here a few times which is why we chose Kettle Black before the Bruce Springsteen concert. The place was packed. But only had to wait about 15 minutes to get a table. The host kept checking on us during the wait, asking if we wanted a drink. Despite being very busy, the service was good. One our party had the fish and chips while my wife and I shared the fish sliders and Philly cheese steak fries. All were excellent! The pub has inside seating as well as a small patio. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the people watching. Kettle Black is one of our favorite DT Phoenix places and we try to get there at least once while in the Phoenix area.”

  “As a Dubliner I can say this place has some great Guinness, you can tell that great care has gone into the quality. Very friendly atmosphere - Jimmy came out to greet us personally and made us feel like we were back in Ireland. Great spot if you are looking for an exceptional Irish pub experience.”
