  “Reliable American-style restaurant and pub with friendly staff and good food. It's particularly handy for families, with a cinema and outdoor play area nearby, so there's plenty to keep the kids entertained. We sometimes just pop in for a beer and frozen custard rather than a full meal, which makes it a good all-round place to visit. Always a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and a useful option when you want food and entertainment in one trip.”

  “Great restaurant just outside Worcester. There’s a fab variety of food even if you’re not into smoked stuff like I am. Hickory’s is a family favourite because of its expansive menu but also how delicious the food is. We’ve never had a bad meal here. The staff are all super friendly, nothing too much trouble even though they look really busy. This isn’t the place to come if you’re after a quiet meal, but the vibe of this place is really special. If you’re in the area this is not to be missed.”

  “Date night visit & we had a sharing platter to start (DELICIOUS!) I had a blueberry lemonade & my hubby had a grape soda - great non alcoholic choices btw! For mains I had an Oklahoma burger which came with fries & house slaw & he had a bbq platter for 1!! No pudding as we were so full! Highly recommend!”

  “Been one of your customers for the past 7 years. Food is great, place is good. However, our experience today is upsetting and somehow insulting. We totally understand about the tipping, “tipping jar” is already included on the receipt when it clearly says it is discretionary. We were given a wrong bill receipt and charged more on the card. We politely asked for clarification but the approach and reaction of your staff was off. It is your staff’s job to provide correct bill, and if they made a mistake and being asked by a customer, we shouldn’t be approached as if it is our mistake for asking clarification regarding the discrepancy. We were told “you paid the correct amount right? so what is wrong?” The fact that the printout bill was wrong and wasn’t corrected and just charged on the card without telling us the correct amount, and we had to ask for clarification, that itself was wrong. A simple sorry - apology and owning mistake would have saved the day, unfortunately it ruined our Sunday.”

  “Really enjoyed the atmosphere and they haneva lovley outdoor seating area which is dog friendly.They have a large free car park available which is also right next to the city centre . Really enjoyed the food abd drinks lots of choice for a decent price . It was quite hard to find a server outside for assistance as went to move table onto the deck so had to go inside to find someone .”

  “My wife and I, newlywed, came to spend an evening here together to spend some time celebrating our new marriage and had an absolutely brilliant time and brilliant service, the staff here made our experience completely unique and nothing I’ve experienced before, everyone is so kind and welcoming, notably our server Mia who has a very warm and welcoming persona. The food is of course exceptional also. Would recommend to anyone to come here to eat, was incredible through and through. Best dining experience I’ve ever had. 100/100. Thank you to all the amazing staff that work here, your effort and kindness is recognised!”

  “We’re regulars at Hickory’s in Burton Green and we’re excited to try the one in Worcester. The location is great and staff was very friendly and helpful. I always have the beef rib, which is usually excellent, but unfortunately on this occasion it was very tough, dry and had lots of chewy bits. At the price of currently £28 this is unacceptable and unfortunately I have to judge my visit by the poor experience with the food quality. I hope this was a one-off problem (certainly wasn’t just mine today - my friend had the same dish and also had the same complaints). We’re hopefully returning one day and I’ll correct my review if the issue is resolved.”

  “I haven't ever eaten at this one, but I have at the Wall Heath establishment. However just getting a few beers and watching sports at the bar has been great. The beer selection is excellent and reasonably priced Also the staff at the bar are super friendly and create a great vibe. Would definitely recommend.”

  “The place is amazing! Food is exceptional! Everytime I order something different and it never disappoints. Meat is so tender it comes off the bone easy, flavour is magical. The hickories special pale ale is seriously amazing! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, never had a bad experience!”

  “Best meal out I've had in a very long time. We had booked and were seated quickly on arrival. It was a nice touch to be given popcorn for nibbles and our drinks arrived quickly, too. My 0% alcohol cocktail was lovely. The menu was huge but we went with the recommendation of the Smokehouse Platter for 2 as it was our first time, and it had a little bit of everything. My goodness, when it arrived we were amazed at the huge platter that took up the width of the table. It truly was a feast, and all beautifully smoked/cooked, with tender meats, a huge sausage, ribs, barbecue sauces, not to mention the fries, pickles, etc. I have never had cornbread before and found it very sweet but interesting. My other half loved it, as he's been to the US and eaten at similar places there. Honestly, if it's anything like Hickory's Smokehouse then I really need to go there and experience the real thing! Just amazing, and I will be going back with other family members as soon as I can.”
