About Costa Coffee
Costa Coffee is a counter-service coffee shop at Unit 1 in Woodbridge, part of the wider coffee chain. Hot cocoa and cappuccino cover the drinks side, while toasted sandwiches round out the food options. Orders are placed at the counter on a walk-in basis, with no reservations taken. The shop opens daily, making it available across the week rather than on set days. The menu runs to four items, keeping the choice at the counter straightforward. As a cafe and coffee store as well as a coffee shop, the space serves both quick drink orders and simple food purchases.

Customer Review Summary
Regulars paint a different picture. They call the staff kind, chatty and welcoming, and one who brings people with learning disabilities says the team makes them feel welcome even when the group is noisy. Several say the coffee is good, and one points to the latest blend. Food draws criticism as soggy, plasticky and tasteless, and one reviewer wishes food and cake prices were lower. One reviewer reports a stale milk smell and smelly toilets. Others praise quick service, good access for little ones and sitting outside on a sunny day in June.

“The woman who served us didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. She came across friendly to other customers that she knew, but was quite rude and uninviting towards us. Food was soggy, plasticky and tasteless, however the coffee was good.”

“My favourite Costa! I’ve been going to this Costa for years and have got to know all the staff. They are always kind, chatty and welcoming, and they make the best coffee. The store is consistently clean and tidy, with such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. I always enjoy coming here.”

“I regularly pop in for a coffee either with family or with customers i support with learning disabilities. The regular staff that we see are fantastic and very understanding and friendly towards those I support....even the noisy one's. They do a great job in making us feel welcome.”
- Steve Taylor
“Could do with a clean as is smells like stale milk. Toilets were also very smelly. No clean tables dispute there only evening a few taken. Coffee was same as any Costa. Shame about the rest.”
