  “Ordered fish and chips x3. Fish cooked fresh and thick cut traditional chips. Good portions sizes and not greasy at all. Not the cheapest but definitely one of the best around. Definitely recommend”

  “Not the best, ordered mini fish chips mushy peas which included a sausage. Fish was more mushy than the peas and very greasy. Chips mostly hard and dry, peas and sausage tasted cheap. For £8 odd I expect much better quality!”

  “Just fancied mini fish and chips after shopping in Aldi..never again ..couldn't believe the price..over £8.00. The fish was so small and soggy batter...not much fish in at all and the chips all dry. No sides either. . Wish l had read some of the reviews first. I'm glad l don't fancy them often....but definitely will not spend my hard earned cash here again.”

  “The wife just got us mini fish & chips with sausage this afternoon it was great cooked perfectly fish nice flufffy chunky chips loverly tasty sausage a real treat we havent been in for a while the owner gentleman as nice and chatty as ever at 70 years old hope his son gets well soon.”

  “I have used this chip shop for years and years. But no more. I get that prices are going up, but there's no excuse for the tiny portions they dish up now. The owner keeps telling his staff to take chips off the serving. "That's too many" he'll say. Correcting the size of the portion he wants to sell. Well I can tell you now. This chip shop gives the smallest portion size in the area. Then has the audacity to tell you every time "That's just ££££" Like he's rubbing your nose in the fact he's ripping you off blind. And don't get me started on how thin the sauces are. You can't call that curry sauce. it's just like coloured water. Well your greed has just lost you a loyal customer. I'm off to 'the hook' or any where else for that matter. see ya. rob dog.”

  “Ah, behold the majestic "Large Overpriced Bag of Chips" from the kingdom of Greaseville! For the mere price of a small fortune, you too can experience the thrill of mediocrity. Picture this: a bag so large, you could probably use it as a flotation device in a potato-themed pool party. Except, here's the twist – inside that cavernous bag lies a treasure trove so minuscule, it makes a gnat's appetite seem generous. They advertised it as "large," but in reality, it's more like a tiny nibble for a particularly restrained squirrel. And the chips? Well, let's just say they were so unremarkable, even the seagulls outside the shop were like, "Nah, we're good, mate." If disappointment had a flavor, it would taste like these chips – a symphony of blandness that leaves you questioning your life choices. But hey, at least you got a good laugh out of the absurdity of it all, right? Welcome to the world of optical illusions, where size is just a suggestion and flavor is but a distant dream.   “My first visit today. I was greeted by a very weel presented and pleasant young lady. I had a mini fish and chips for £6 and have to say, they're probably the nicest I've had for a while. Well done Coppice. I'll be back!”

  “We are regular customers of this shop and always been very happy with them. However the last couple of times they have not been very nice, chips. mashed and leaving a film of grease on your lips. Really don't know what's changed 😂.”
