  “Went yesterday the food was warm not hot the cod and chips wasn’t up to the normal standards today we feel awlful very nauseous and sick so thanks guys I could really do with out this today. Perhaps invest in a temperature probe and stop leaving stuff out to go cold”

  “Food was awful! Had haddock and chips the haddock was inedible, dry and couldn't even chew the batter! Think it had been sat there a while. Chips were soggy. Threw it in the bin as couldn't be bothered to walk back there after going to the car to eat it! Won't ever be going here again been here loads of times and last two times it's been horrible”

  “Friendly service, really fresh food. The chicken chunks, chips and curry sauce were really nice and good portion of chips too. Curry sauce was a little too thin but flavour was good and it made the pot of sauce last just long enough for the chips to be fair. Chicken was cooked to order so took a few minutes but service was very friendly and it was worth the short wait.”

  “I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the chips, they were hot fresh and had a very nice crunch to them and not a single one was soggy. The service was fast and the staff very pleasant. The only downside is after you've got your food trying to find a seat in the very noisy and busy food court.”

  “Tasty Plaice, located in Eat Central, serves up classic fish and chips with a dash of variety. While I didn't indulge myself, my companion opted for the cod and chips combo with a sausage and curry sauce. They said it was fresh and hot, a savory delight from start to finish, though slightly greasier than ideal. However, despite the tasty food, there's room for improvement in the service department. Having personally tasted the chips myself on other occassions, I can attest to their batter freshness and crispy perfection. Despite any minor shortcomings, Tasty Plaice promises a satisfying experience for both traditionalists and those seeking something new.”

  “Nice food, located in the food hall where there are many alternatives yet I would always choose this place! The drink can be purchased in a XL capacity which is essential with a meal like this. Also, the staff at this branch are very friendly and helpful (Aug, 22).”

  “Went there with my partner and it was such lovely food seemed very hygienic where the food was cooked and staff were fast and friendly. Not too greasy or strong the perfect flavour exactly how fish and chips should be would recommend to anyone. its not the cheapest comes to about 16+ for 2 but it's filling and worth it.”
