About Little Fifteen
Little Fifteen is a wine bar in Wigan, at 17-19 Wallgate, with a quirky interior that has paintings on the ceiling and plenty of decor to look at. Live music is part of the offer, including a singer and Motown. Wine is served by the glass and Guinness by the pint, and the pizza is hand stretched. The bar sits near a train station, so it works as a place to stop while waiting for a train home.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the quirky interior, from the paintings on the ceiling to decor with plenty to look at, which one says feels like being in an old movie. Live music comes close behind, including a Saturday night singer with Motown, and several describe friendly, quick staff. One reviewer noticed two staff helping a wheelchair customer out to the bar. Food draws mixed reactions. A hand stretched pizza full of flavour and generous, hot dishes earn praise, while a spaghetti bolognese and a burger were called average. The sharpest complaint is a pasta that arrived cold and reheated with no flavour. Another table waited a long time for food in a nearly empty room, and prices were called high compared with other pubs. One reviewer also says an emailed request for a corrected receipt went unanswered. The same table that waited also asked for a replacement for a cold coffee and was given the same cup heated in the microwave.

“I visited Little 15 last month for a meal, and the abysmal customer service and highly concerning administrative practices leave me no choice but to warn others. After my meal, I requested a standard VAT receipt. What I was handed was a receipt that failed to provide a proper VAT breakdown, and even worse, displayed a completely invalid VAT number (122 6330 54). Their actual registered VAT number is entirely different (120807546). Assuming this was just an honest administrative error on their tills, I emailed management directly, outlined the issue, and politely asked for a reissued, compliant invoice. My correspondence was completely ignored. No apology, no corrected receipt, just total silence. Issuing invalid tax information to paying customers and then blatantly ignoring them when they try to resolve it is completely unacceptable. If you are a business traveler or anyone who requires legitimate, accurate receipts for your expenses, I strongly advise you to avoid this establishment. It really makes you wonder what else they are cutting corners on behind the scenes. Will be reporting to HMRC.”

“The pasta was cold and reheated. You could tell it wasn’t freshly cooked, no flavour at all. Good atmosphere though. Would not go back there for food.”

“Been a few times. Suffers from the local riffraff at times but don't let this put you off. Food is really nice and service was quick and friendly.”

“I’m Korean(south), my husband was born and brought up at Wigan, his last visit to Wigan was before pandemic, first visit to me this time. Here was first place to eat and drink after unpacking. Was very impressed with friendly people. Especially when I saw two staffs assisting wheelchair customer out to bar. I really enjoyed Saturday night live singer, Motown culture and unique interiors, ladies room with many sinks and many rooms. Was very comfortable toilet. Hopefully visit again before we leave Wigan. Food was average level to me. (I had spaghetti bolognese, my husband had burger.)”

“Staff are phenomenal, James with the pink hair couldn’t do enough for us, and alice behind the bar was incredible. Not to mention the charming young lady who looked after us she was amazing! The staff are incredible here”
