About Relish Cheese and Wine
Relish Cheese and Wine is a wine bar in Wigan, at 43 Hallgate, run by owners who host. Wine is sold by the bottle, and the owners help guests choose one, while beer comes on tap and in bottles. At the back, a Greek-themed garden has some cover and heaters, so the home-made food and the cheese and charcuterie sharing platters can be enjoyed there. The menu leans toward small, tapas-style plates, with a cheese selection alongside. Breads are home cooked, and the specials change every week. Vegan and vegetarian options are also on the menu.

“Fabulous place, we were accommodated last minute, served a beautiful array of charcuterie delights, and the owners were very knowledgeable about the wines and helped us pick a beautiful white. Special beers served to my clients too. Don’t miss this little gem if you’re in Wigan. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could.”

“Super friendly wine bar with a great selection of food. Mostly small sharing platters, but all home made. Different specials every week. Cosy atmosphere inside, with a super outdoor garden space to relax in. Hosts cannot do enough to make you genuinely welcome. I’d recommend you book, as the venue already has a great reputation and is very popular. Offers vegan and vegetarian options too. Great wine selection. Beers on tap and bottle.”
