“Went to this restaurant this weekend The food was pathetic The meat was too old and it had a weird taste and smell. When we informed about the issue to the management politely. The staff named Akash ( not sure that’s his real name or not , A middle aged guy anyway ) was rude and not accepting the mistake instead he was arguing like it’s not like that without not even having a look at that issue. Worst hospitality I have ever faced in the Uk till now. Never suggesting this restaurant to anyone who are seeking Indian Cuisine”

“Staff smily and welcoming. Food was delivered far to quick making us think it was microwaved on some of the dishes. We love our curries and we have the same dishs all the time, I always have Tandorri king prawns but the prawns were overcooked too much of large half cooked onion pieces on serving dish and not to the standard we usually do have. We arrived by 6pm so the restaurant was not that busy. Left disappointed”

“Situated close to Whitby bus and train station. We ordered; Akbari Machi Bhuna £13.95 which was fish curry and I'm sorry to say but I was very disappointed both with the taste and amount of fish which was very small. However, my partner had Tandoori King Prawns Masala £15.95 and really enjoyed it. We also had a side dish of Tarka Dhal £5.50, Mushroom Rice £4.50 and Garlic Naan £3.95 all of which were great. Service was ok, plenty of staff but perhaps not as attentive as I would have liked as I had to ask for things. PS. Sorry about the half eaten photos of the food but I forgot to take photos before we started to eat.”
