  “Lovely place with a beautiful view! Staff is welcoming and warm. I really liked that chef could accommodate my request for ingredient substitution and the way he cooked it was amazing. I loved everything about this place, but the food was unapologetically amazing 😮‍💨🔥 Perfectly cooked and full of flavour- by that I don’t mean any seasoning was added, and that’s what made food taste good, no! It was pure take of genuine food 😍 in love”

  “Absolutely fantastic experience at Prowse! The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel looked after from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, with lovely views that made the meal even more enjoyable. Great portion sizes, excellent service, and amazing value for money. I would highly recommend Prowse to anyone visiting Southend and will definitely be returning!”

  “The steak was absolutely angelic. I have not had a rare steak that good in a VERY long time, I recommend this place extremely highly. The service was so polite and friendly, they genuinely seemed happy to be there which you often don’t find in restaurants nowadays. Very refreshing.”

  “Such a brilliant restaurant, I would highly recommend it! We visited on a Tuesday evening and were served by the lovely Caitlin! Even though she was the only member of staff at that time, service was exceptionally fast and the food was incredible. Caitlin made us feel so welcome and was very knowledgeable about the menu, and the whole experience was such a nice end to our day.”

  “My grandad and I decided we should try a new place and ended up in Prowse. What an incredible decision. We both agreed its some of the absolute best food we have eaten together. The staff were all incredible and they were so good with telling what type of service every customer needed. On top of the perfect service and food it’s a stunning view and nice location. We will be back as soon as possible!”

  “Our group all had fabulous meals last night, the service was great. We would thoroughly recommend the Mixed Shesh. Both the chicken and lamb were delicious but the lamb was particularly amazing. Great flavour and almost fell apart. We will definitely be returning.”

  “Amazing service , amazing food , amazing everything. The portion sizes are big and the food is made to a high standard. It was our first time coming and they gave us a free shot because we weren’t able to get a table we were meant to. We had a lovely Mother’s Day and we will definitely be back again. Thank you to lovely staff that made sure we were okay and kept checking up on us throughout our stay ❤️”

  “Food was very delicious, I had the lamb shank and the portion size was massive, that big I had to take it home. Enis was our waiter and he was very lovely. At the end of the meal we were given a free dessert, it was delicious. Will definitely recommend and we will be coming back for more.”
