  “Best duck I've ever had!! , but the fried rice was like boiled rice, crackers are the better thin ones, ribs were ok ... would definitely come back for that duck and maybe ask if they could fry my rice more...I'm sure there's many lovely things on their menu yet to try”

  “Not my usual local, but I have to say I’ll be going back, again and again as it knocks mine out of the park. Duck was delicious, chow mein was not greasy, and the spare ribs were amazing. Not that the prawn crackers are ever worth mentioning, but these were different - much lighter in texture and I could tell they were definitely fried in house - and so tasty! Thank you!”

  “Absolutely the best Chinese I've ever had. They stay open even after closed I have notice. Lady on the phone is always super polite. Food is very nice, price is fair and can pay by card. It's a shame they are closing due to their landlord.”

  “We had a fantastic meal at Golden Harvest in Irthlingborough. The food was lovely – really fresh, full of flavour, and served in generous portions. Everything tasted authentic and well-prepared, with plenty of choice on the menu. The service was just as good, friendly, welcoming and honest timing when they are busy. If you’re looking for delicious Chinese food with great value and service, Golden Harvest is definitely worth a visit!”

  “Great food, plenty to choose from on the menu. Phone your order in ahead of time as can get a bit busy at peak times. We’ve been eating here for over 15 years and food has always been perfect and the order correct! Still great food and awesome service August 2025”

  “I thought I did a review but clearly not . Alert this is the place to go . Service excellent on the phone in person the lady is lovely to talk to . Food out of this world well compared to any other in irthlingborough Rushden or higham we have tried The crispy shredded beef is amazing every time it's the best Highly recommended if you want to be full and have flavour . The waiting time never had a issue either maybe when busy busy 30 minutes wait . None of this 1 hour wait . Just ordering now as we speak lots of love to the family run business cheers to many more years of great food ordered by many And if your worried where to park there is a car park at the back behind the public toilets near the church if you aren't a local person and want to try . For 3 of us we spend around 30 in total and get quite a bit remember card payers order has to be 20pounds of more anything under its cash only .”

  “I order occasionally, BUT the food and service I am getting is always perfect. Not too sure about the others negative reviews, but I ordered spicy stuff for myself, spring rolls for my missus and chicken meal for our son- all 3 stayed very impressed. The lady over the counter was more than happy to happy to help me with my order. Personally will be using ONLY them, as I also tried other *Chinese* take aways and they not even close Golden Harvest”

  “First visit and won't be the last as good was amazing. Ordering was very easy on the phone and order ready in 25 minutes. Everything was piping hot. Each dish very tasty. The lady on phone was very polite”
