  “We had a fantastic experience at Miller & Carter. The food was delicious, cooked perfectly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A special mention has to go to our server, Teneka, who was absolutely outstanding throughout our visit. She was friendly, attentive, professional, and made us feel genuinely valued as customers. Nothing was too much trouble, and her excellent customer service really made the evening special. Thank you, Teneka, for making our visit so enjoyable. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Miller & Carter to anyone looking for great food and exceptional service.”

  “This is absolutely the best restaurant I've ever been. I thoroughly recommend coming here. The food is absolutely first class. The staff are absolutely wonderful. You're not made to feel like a number whatsoever. The car park is suitable as well, Which is especially important if you are a biker. Big shout out to Olivia. She was helpful and she was wonderful. As are all the staff.”

  “We really wanted to come and try the butchers block and it did not disappoint. The food was unreal, the steak was perfect and there was so much food we didn't mind spending the money on it, will definatly be getting it again. 3 steaks (all cooked to different specifcations), onion bread, 2 chips/fries, 2 sauces, 2 iceberg lettice with sauce and a topping, bone marrow 👌 Would highly recommend. Laura, our server was lovely, friendly and funny. Great member of your team Miller and Carter. Lovely venue and friendy/relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of free parking. Will definitely be going back, thank you to Laura as well 👌”

  “We had an amazing dining experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to Eve. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, attentive, and incredibly professional. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Eve anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, checked in at just the right times, and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Her friendly personality, excellent knowledge of the menu, and outstanding attention to detail truly elevated our experience. Exceptional customer service like Eve’s is rare to find, and she is a real credit to the restaurant. Thank you for making our visit so memorable. We will definitely be returning and hope to be served by Eve again. Five stars all the way!”

  “I took my partner for celebrating his birthday, we had a 3 course lunch menu. Foods and mocktails were nice but the ribs and fries can be more hotter. Take a bit long to be served for the main but we were not in a rush so not a big problem. The service was made our experience more special as Fiona who served us from the start and the end, she made sure the birthday message on the desert plate surprised my partner, strongly recommend to visit in a special occasion here :)”

  “I’m really disappointed with our recent visit to Miller & Carter. We expected a much higher standard based on the reputation, but unfortunately it fell well short. For starters, I ordered a prawn cocktail and the lettuce was visibly brown, which immediately raised concerns about freshness and quality. The triple-cooked chips were dry and not served hot, which added to the overall poor quality of the meal. For my main, I chose the ribeye steak, described as “award-winning,” but it was extremely bland and lacked any real flavour. For a restaurant known for its steaks, this was particularly disappointing. To make matters worse, the service did not help the experience. The waitress who served us, a blonde member of staff, came across as quite rude and unwelcoming. Overall, the food quality and service were not what we expected, especially given the prices. Sadly, this visit did not live up to the brand’s reputation.”

  “My husband and I visited 27/02/26 and had a gorgeous meal. The food was 10/10. Good atmosphere and the restaurant its self is lovely and well maintained. We also really enjoyed the cocktails. It’s on the pricey side so we only go for the occasional date night but we always enjoy it.”

  “An absolutely lovely meal. We were served by Fiona, she was lovely, personable, helpful and smiley - exactly what you would look for. She knew when to approach and when to give us a minute. The food was stunning - as always. Steak cooked to perfect and the mac and cheese was delicious. Will definitely be back.”

  “On-route to our destination in Liverpool on the 26th December, no bookings..no clue. Checking on tripadvisor - this was the 2nd place we turned up at, we got a table for 2 hours despite no booking on their busy day! I loved the vibe, decor & ambience. The food from starters, steak mains and dessert were all very good - no complaints!!! All staff are friendly including Fiona who was attending to us. Just worry they don’t have a place where we live… Would highly recommend!!”
