About Lucy’s
Lucy's is a retro-style coffee shop in Warrington, on Bruche Heath Gdns, and it welcomes dogs, so owners can bring their pets along for breakfast or lunch. Music plays in the cafe. The menu runs from poached eggs and avocado on toast to a bacon, sausage and egg bap, with a granola bowl and a veggie breakfast for those who want something different. Specialty coffee, including cappuccino, comes alongside the food. The kitchen makes its cinnamon buns in house, and the buns and cakes can be taken home.

Customer Review Summary
Poached eggs and avocado on toast is the dish diners raise most, served on sourdough in one account and with a hint of chilli in the sauce in another. Close behind are the cappuccino, called a proper one by a reviewer who came back for a second, and a freshly cooked bacon, sausage and egg bap. The veggie breakfast, a granola bowl and a homemade cinnamon bun also get mentions. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly and welcoming, and several reviewers point to the cosy, retro feel inside and the tables outside in the sun or the green space. One calls the menu wide-ranging, and another says it is great value for money. The one complaint comes from a reviewer who laments that the cafe isn't open later in the day, which rules it out as an escape after finishing work early. Even with the cafe very busy, one group said they were well taken care of, and one diner took home two cakes that looked irresistible.

“I came across Lucy’s while staying nearby and I’m very glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the welcome and hospitality were exceptional — genuinely friendly, relaxed and the sort of service that makes you want to come back. I had the bacon, sausage and egg bap, which was freshly cooked and absolutely spot on. The cappuccino deserves a special mention too — a proper cappuccino, beautifully made, and good enough that I came back and ordered another one on my next visit! The café itself has a lovely atmosphere, with pleasant surroundings and the green space outside making it an especially nice place to sit and enjoy breakfast and a coffee. Great food, excellent coffee and genuinely lovely people. Hospitality 10/10. Lucy’s has very quickly become one of those places I'll make a point of returning to whenever I'm in Warrington. Highly recommended.”
