About Reyna Brasserie
At 2 Windmill Ln in Waltham Cross, Reyna Brasserie is a Mediterranean restaurant that pairs its food with a cocktail list. Its Irish coffee arrives with dry ice, and a 2-for-1 cocktail offer gives drinkers a reason to order a second round. Customer Review Summary
The caveats centre on money. One diner felt ignored after being charged for four cocktails under a Wednesday 2-for-1 offer they believed should have covered more, and the bar and waitress staff would not explain it. Another found prices high and disliked the 12.5% service charge added to a table of four, which they paid. One reviewer called the food merely okay, and a complimentary Biscoff biscuit with tea capped one brunch.

“First time coming here. This is a fantastic restaurant. The food and service is first class. For starters I had the prawns and they did it in garlic butter for me as I prefer it to the tomato sauce. For mains I had the lamb rack which was amazing and plenty of food. We had a nice rose Prosecco which went well with the starters. For dessert I recommend the banoffee pie which was amazing !! Top marks to the chef and the staff here who made us feel very welcome. We were served by Nasip and Evelyn who were both excellent , great service and they made us feel really welcome. We cannot wait to come back again.”

“What a great experience for a Sunday morning breakfast. Some of the best Eggs Benedict I've had anywhere, and the pancakes were beautifully light and fluffy. Fantastic.”

“Been to Reyna a few times and the food has always been okay – not terrible, but never anything particularly memorable. Today, we decided to escape the heat and visit because it has air conditioning. As it was a Wednesday, there was a 2-for-1 cocktail offer. We hadn't realised the offer was applied per person and initially assumed that after ordering six cocktails between us, we would only be charged for three. When the bill arrived, we noticed we had been charged for four cocktails. My partner had ordered two cocktails and was still drinking her second when we asked about the bill. I had ordered four cocktails myself. At the time, I didn't fully understand how the offer was being applied, so I paid. Afterwards, I realised that under the terms shown on the promotional poster, my final two cocktails should have qualified for the offer, meaning I should only have been charged for three cocktails in total. I tried to explain this to the staff, and my partner confirmed that she wasn't drinking any more and was still nursing her second cocktail while I had ordered the additional drinks. Even the barman agreed that the explanation made sense, but neither he nor the waitress seemed willing to address the issue or explain why the offer wasn't being applied. Despite repeatedly trying to clarify what I felt was a reasonable point, I was met mostly with silence, so eventually I gave up. The extra cocktail charge wasn't a huge amount of money, but the disappointing part was feeling completely ignored when raising what seemed to be a fair concern. Between the average food, okay cocktails and poor handling of the situation, it left us feeling disappointed with the overall experience. When you're spending around £150 on a Wednesday evening for dinner and drinks, you expect a reasonable level of customer service. The issue was never the cost of a single cocktail, but the complete lack of engagement when we tried to discuss what appeared to be a genuine billing error. Unfortunately, that experience has left us with no desire to return.”

“Celebrated my mum and dad’s 60th Diamond Anniversary along with 24 family and friends. Firstly we were thankful for your air conditioning on a very hot day. Our waitress Yaren was exceptional with dealing with such a large group and lastly everyone was very complementary on the amazing atmosphere and the superb food. Definitely would return and recommend this restaurant to everyone.”
