“I went to pop in last friday 21st august. I was wearing jeans, t-shirt and doormen told me I couldn't go in as there is a dress code. I asked him what's the dress code even though I've been to this pub many times. He said I wasn't in the right dress code. What made my night worse was there were people in the pub and outside wearing the exact same clothes as me. And they were in there. I'm a big lad and felt the doorman picked on me for a reason. Not going to go in there in future. However I would like to talk to the new management to ask him what is going on. Place wasnt that busy and was only 10.45pm.”

“Rude staff and bouncers. I was assaulted when there was a mass brawl (entire venue of over 30 people) as I was trying to help the patrons due to chairs, pool cues and glasses being thrown, people were knocked unconscious as they were trying to escape the eruption, 6 stitches in the back of the head and concussion. When police arrived the staff became hostile toward everyone, luckily one door person thanked me for helping him hold the door closed as a large group of young men tried to force their way through, but other door staff refused to show ID to me or the police after they continued to escalate the already tense atmosphere. They were ‘permanently dismissed’ by landlord after police shut the business down for the night and made some suggestions, only to show up to work again a few weeks later. Run down, low quality pub on its last legs, I would steer well clear.”
