  “⭐ 1/5 — Avoid Peri Peri Cottage, Uxbridge. Just Don’t Bother. Reviewed: Peri Peri Cottage, Uxbridge | Date: 20 Oct 2026 Wish I could give zero stars. Ordered the half chicken meal — biggest mistake I’ve made all month. 🍗 The Food Chicken was dry, rubbery, and barely warm. It tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The "peri sauce" was watery, bland, and barely had any flavour — just a weird vinegary aftertaste. When I asked for extra hot, it was milder than ketchup. The rice was mushy and soggy, the chips were greasy and limp, and the coleslaw tasted like it was straight out of a sour tub. Absolutely awful. 😞 Service Waited 45 minutes for a takeaway that was supposed to be ready in 15. Staff didn’t apologise once — just shrugged when I said how late it was. Got home to find they’d missed half my order. Called them up and they said "come back tomorrow" — no refund, no apology, nothing. 🧽 Cleanliness Tables were sticky, floors had bits of food everywhere, and the whole place just felt grubby. Definitely not somewhere you want to be eating from. 💷 Value for money? £18 for this? Are you serious? I’ve had better peri peri from a supermarket microwave meal. Total rip-off. Verdict: Go to Nando’s, go to any other takeaway — literally anywhere but here. Wasted money, wasted time, left hungry and frustrated. Never again. ❌ Want me to crank the anger up or keep it like this? 😄”

  “This place is a health hazard and should be closed down! Toilets are an absolute disgrace. No Soap in both Male and Female toilets and no working hand dryers. To give me hand Santiser to clean my hands is absolute farce. I shall be reporting Peri Peri Cottage Uxbridge to London Borough of Hillingdon with immmediate effect!”

  “Raw chicken wings that we had to wait 35 minutes for them to make "fresh" ones. Ordered a spicy fillet burger meal and received a regular fillet burger with cheese that was not supposed to be on the burger . Told that our order will be ready in 10-15 minutes. Had to wait nearly 40 minutes for stale chips and burger . Wouldn't recommend”

  “Sobe burger, their franchise , give us absolutely wrong order , called them - saying is not their fault , they just ignoring us. Place an order for 37£ and received order for 10£. Costumer service very bad , they are not even trying to help costumers. Lady over the phone was very rude and raising her voice on me! Not recommended”
