“Fast service and friendly. Food tasted average. Chips didn’t taste fresh, fish had a rubbery texture and the oil had a funny smell. The batter was light, the mushy peas felt dry. Ended up throwing away most of it when usually I always finish a good quality fish & chips.”

“Absolutely the best Fish and Chips in Tiverton (in my opinion), whether you sit in or takeaway. The food is always hot, fresh and most enjoyable and the staff are always friendly, polite and helpful. Whenever I am in Tiverton and fancy fish and chips, this is the only place I buy them from. I have tried other places but this place tops the lot and they have remained constant in quality for years. As I write this, I can say that their menu says £11.10 for Cod & Chips but at lunch time they offer O.A.P. Cod & Chips for £7.80 which I find is plenty.”

“It's a fish and chip shop so don't expect Michelin style cuisine. However! The food is amazing. I had cod bites and they were amazing, fresh and hot. Chips were the sort you would find at your local chippy but again hot and cooked to order. Mushy peas, mushy! We went at about 1630 which was the perfect time as it only got busy as we were leaving. Recommend to try it out they have waiting service and cash is preferred.”

“I popped in for a sit-down lunch. Food and atmosphere look amazing. Service is non-existent. I'll elaborate: they have a big sign on the counter informing cash is king. They have an external ATM, so I thought it wouldn't be an issue drawing cash then, to spend in the shop. Only they charge £1.25 for the cash withdrawal. This is 2026. Most of us carry cards these days. Get with the programme. I'll vote with my wallet, elsewhere, where they don't care how I pay. I drove up from Bovey, on a recommendation.”
