  “A Special Thank You to Leonie – Manager We have visited many times, but this morning’s visit really stood out. After ordering our breakfast, we went to the collection window and were asked if we would like sugar for our drinks. I replied, “No, thank you, it’s sweet enough.” We were then asked if we would like any sauce with our hash browns. My wife and I both looked at Leonie, who was serving us, and said that this was the first time we had ever been asked about so many of the little condiment details. Leonie looked surprised, and we explained that we were genuinely happy to be asked. She then said that she was simply serving us in the way that she would like to be served herself. We completely agreed with her. It was such a simple thing, but that little bit of extra care and attention really stood out to us. In a world where good service can sometimes feel rushed, Leonie’s warmth and thoughtfulness made a real difference. We actually felt that a review was needed just to highlight such shining customer service. Thank you, Leonie, for making our morning and showing that sometimes it really is the little things that make a big difference.   “Utterly useless! You wait in the drive through for a good 30-40 mins. You get handed your food and drive off, to get home and they’ve missed half the order, the food is stone cold. You go back and get the missing items (via drive through as all the uber drivers take up spaces) wait again, to get home and realise half the items you’ve just fetched are missing sauce, salad etc. they’re all plain? What the hell is this place?? Cold, expensive, plain food it is! What a waste of my time. Do better!”

  “Apparently they put everything on the tray before bagging it up on the counter (so needs to be handled twice so it'll get colder and fries are touched), to make sure they got everything right.... Yet still gave me a vanilla milkshake instead of a banana one 🫠”

  “Ordered food to be delivered from here. Food was missing again. Called McDonald's who advised I had to go through the delivery service and complain. It's not the delivery service at fault; it's this restaurant itself, The kitchen staff. It can't be hard to read the screen place food in a bag and seal the bag up then pass to a delivery driver. This has happened more than once now and I will not be ordering from here again. McDonald's manager didn't offer a solution just kept saying sorry totally useless.”

  “Food was typical McDonald’s, but the service really let it down. I waited around 30 minutes for my order, and the drink came with no ice and was warm. It was also only filled to around two thirds, which was disappointing. When I raised this, Michelle was excellent. She topped up my drink, was polite and handled the situation professionally, so thank you to her. Unfortunately, the manager had a completely different attitude. She was rude, dismissive and kept giving me dirty looks throughout the interaction. I’ve never experienced that here before. I don’t want to assume there was any racial undertone, but as I was the only Black customer there at the time, it certainly made me feel uncomfortable. I don’t normally leave reviews, but this experience was poor enough that I felt I had to.”

  “I honestly love the maccies here, yeah it has it's flaws and some mistakes are made but that's like most stores and restaurants, it does their best with the busy flow and staff are mostly friendly when you need help. I love the customer care team and their charity raising which I think it awesome! It can be messy sometimes with the raffle and the shelves but they do their best and that's all anyone can ask for. At busy times especially at night, it can be a long wait but that's expected especially as a 24/7 store with a drive thru. Even when busy I would come here again and order food 💯”

  “Service is absolutely appalling. I had to ask three times for a cup of water. The first time it took forever. Nothing happened. The second time a cup of sparkling water came out the third time my Mrs. Gave up and tried helping herself in the kitchen apparently they don’t like that and got water straight away. It is 10 o’clock at night. It is not busy here.”

  “I visited the drive-thru at **McDonald's** at 19:35 on 19/02/25 and was served by a real gentleman. I order from McDonald’s a few times a week, but the service I received today was truly outstanding and worth taking the time to mention. Throughout my order, he politely asked if I would like this or that added, making sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. It was simple, but such a nice and thoughtful touch. Excellent customer service – thank you!”

  “I was here at 6.30am. Number one, they had porridge. Number two, the receipt machine worked. Porridge, a breakfast wrap, and a bacon bun. 🥓 Service was quick. Food was as it should be. Carpark is huge compared to most. The restaurant itself was immaculate inside.”
