  “Been on the lookout for a Chinese that caters for vegans and fiiiinally found it. The menu for vegan options is huuugee and all items are clearly marked so need to worry about whether something is vegan or not. Ordered takeaway for the first time today and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it! it was exactly how I remembered having takeout Chinese food before I went vegan! We had mock prawn toast, mock satay chicken with rice and crispy seaweed! The atmosphere inside was cool and the staff friendly when we went to pick up our food! Definitely considering trying a sit down meal at some point! Thank u guys! 🩷”

  “Oriental Aroma – Best Chinese I’ve Had in Years 🥡🌱 Since going vegan, finding a really good Chinese takeaway hasn’t always been easy, but Oriental Aroma has been a brilliant find. They’re not a vegan restaurant, but they cater really well for it, with a wide range of options — and everything I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. Proper flavour, fresh ingredients, and genuinely satisfying (not just “good for vegan food” just good, full stop). The service is excellent too — friendly, quick, and reliable, which makes the whole experience even better. If you’re vegan (or just want some really tasty Chinese food), I’d highly recommend giving them a try. You won’t be disappointed! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

  “Absolutely shocking service, New Year’s Eve we called at 11am to place our order for dinner which we would have liked to have picked up at 20:40. Over an hour of waiting for the food when we arrived to collected, no communication as only the slightest hint of an apology or explanation. We love this place and it’s our go to Chinese because of the GF options, getting takeout from there at least twice a month. All it needed was a call at 8pm when they knew they were running late and we could have managed, as it stands we have a house full of hungry people and feel massively let down. But to let people at least 10 others in the same position for well over an hour without so much as an update or even some type of complimentary refreshment, means we will think twice about going back.”

  “So much choice for vegan options, with a whole vegan menu and a section for vegan & GF! All food it hot and freshly made. Everything was delicious! I thoroughly recommend! Also an absolute bargain in the early diners price, £18.95 per head if you vacate before 7:30pm.”

  “Such a gem of a Chinese, the food is always on point. The crispy onions on thr platter are just sensational. Once you've eaten you can dance the night away when the disco starts. Always a good night best nightlife in Bassett”

  “Disappointing. I wanted to really enjoy this place, but it fell short on many points. Here are my observations: 1. The food was okay, but it didn't impress. 2. Decor was outdated, and the place turned into a "nightclub" after hours. It didn't really feel like a restaurant. 3. When booking for a Friday evening, they demanded a non refundable deposit per head, like they're some sort of exclusive establishment, ridiculous, the place was half empty! 4. If you choose 'all you can eat', you better be with someone who wants the same food because you're not allowed to order separately on the starter or second course! 5. They only let you order one main at a time on the 'all you can eat', rather than letting you order multiple dishes and offering smaller portions. Ridiculous rule! 6. Service was fine, and the staff were polite enough. 7. Seems to be 'make it up as you go along' pricing as they just marker penned a new price over the face of the menu. They seem to care more about what works for them, rather than giving their customers a good experience, massive shame, really. In summary, I would not return or recommend this place.”

  “Always amazing food, and service. The team are helpful and you pay for what you get. A little under £40 for all this, with 2 portions removed already. thank you for always providing phenomenal vegan versions too! Never once have we been disappointed.”
