  “Went to the Gourmet Cafe last night (15/06/26) with three of my friends who took me there for my birthday. Cash only. Beautifully family run business. Best Chinese in Swansea. Wish they did deliveries. The staff are so friendly. The food is absolutely out of this world. You can tell it's all freshly cooked when it's ordered. The portions are huge and the prices are really, really very reasonable. Totally love this place. Been twice now and will definitely be going there again. Thank you very much to the staff last night. Xx”

  “Absolutely amazing food! Incredibly reasonably priced as well, around half the price and way tastier than a certain other Chinese restaurant in Swansea - out of the two this one deserves all the awards! It is cash only, so make sure you get some cash out before hand, there is an ATM nearby if needed.”

  “It was my first time and visited based on the review. I have been craving for a nice chinese cafe. The egg rice was tasty but the sizzling beef was too salty. Could not finish it cos of the too much salt. Also, there was a table with leftovers which took so much time to clean up. Secondly, was not happy with the service. When I asked for my bill, it was higher than what was on the menu. When I asked, she said the price has increased but not reflected on the booklet. Was disappointed cos that’s not being straight. I was never told at the start of my order, besides, I should pay based on what is on the booklet. I planned bringing my friends and family but do not feel comfortable.”

  “Wow. The Gourmet Cafe is probably the best Chinese meal I've had. Superb quality and everything freshly cooked. Great service and amazing prices too. Parking can be a bit tricky and I'd recommend booking a table.”

  “I have been going to this restaurant for years! The best Chinese food in Swansea! I have recommended many people and they have all loved it! The Garlic Prawns are a must! Never had bad food at that place, always delicious, clean and very reasonably priced. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐”

  “Absolutely loved this restaurant! The food is incredibly authentic. The staff were attentive, patient, and warm throughout our visit.   “Looking for a fantastic place to have Chinese? then this place is for you. on my recent visit to Swansea found this nice place to have dinner and to my surprise this restaurant had an amazing and authentic Chinese dishes that would please most people.
