  “Can't comment on service or atmosphere as had this as a takeaway but it was fab! Been looking for a decent curry place near Croydon for ages and this delivered. Beautifully cooked and spiced Lamb Karahi, absolutely delicious and perfectly vinegary Dansak. Very pleased with this - and that's coming from a Bradford lad!”

  “Solid spot for proper Pakistani food in Sutton. Had the biryani, chicken karahi and tandoori tikka sizzler — all full of flavour and well portioned. Crispy papadums with a great chutney trio to start, fresh naan, and quick friendly service. Reasonable prices too. Will be back.”

  “Disgraceful service. I order from this place regularly and while the food is usually decent, tonight’s order was completely unacceptable. I placed an order for lamb biryani at 11:30 pm, well within your stated opening hours. If you’re unable or unwilling to prepare a proper meal that close to closing time, then say so. Don’t accept the order and send out what is clearly substandard, leftover food. The portion was appalling — one barely acceptable piece of lamb and the rest practically nonexistent. It felt like the absolute scraps at the bottom of the pot. This shows a complete lack of respect for paying customers. I’ve overlooked mistakes in the past, but this was the last straw. I ordered because I was hungry, and instead, I was left disappointed and out of pocket. For the money I paid, I would have been better off going to McDonald’s.”

  “I recently visited Lahore Spice and had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and clearly made with care. Everything we ordered was fresh and really enjoyable. My favourite dish was lamb curry and chicken korma with garlic naan. I also would also highly recommend the mix grill!! ;) The staff were also incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. They made us feel comfortable and were happy to answer questions and assist whenever needed. What really stood out was their kindness at the end of our meal. My grandmother was with us, and the staff kindly helped carry the remaining food we were taking home all the way to the car for us. It was such a thoughtful gesture and showed how much they care about their customers. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with both great food and excellent service. I would definitely recommend Lahore Spice Sutton and look forward to visiting again.”

  “Visited this restaurant with my family after their new renovations and it was a very nice experience. The place looks much fresher and more modern now, really comfortable atmosphere for sitting in and enjoying a meal. The food was very good. Everything tasted fresh, well seasoned and came out hot. The portions were generous and the flavours were exactly what you’d want from a proper Pakistani restaurant. The service was also friendly and welcoming which made the visit even better.”

  “I went there for Iftari and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The service was extremely poor. They served us food in plates that looked like they were already used and not properly cleaned, which was very disrespectful and unhygienic. We ordered two biryanis but they only brought one, and even after finishing our Iftari the second one never came. The naan also arrived very late and by that time the food was already cold. Honestly, if you want to lose your respect and experience terrible service, then this is the place to go.”

  “Had an amazing meal at Lahore Spices tonight. The biryani was bursting with flavor, the curries were beautifully spiced, and the naan was soft and fresh. Great portion sizes and excellent value for money. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere — I’ll definitely be coming back!”

  “We were excited to try Pakistani food for the first time, but the experience was uncomfortable from start to finish. The waiter who took the order was not quite helpful to explain the dishes, and the dining area felt greasy with a heavy smell of old oil. The "cold" service continued until the end—no goodbye or even a glance as we walked out. However, the biggest issue was that both of us fell ill with diarrhea after our meal. We are still recovering. Very poor hygiene and hospitality standards.”

  “I visited because it was one of the few places open late. Most of the customers and staff were men, which gave the place a certain vibe. It wasn’t the cleanest place, but the food was well prepared and tasty. The dried fish was especially good, and the lamb was decent too. Even after 9 PM, the place was lively and busy, which made the atmosphere quite fun. Visited in Jun 2025”
