  “Great place to come for a treat, amazing and friendly staff, good food options too. I highly recommend the Atlantic Shrimp; it was some of the best. Some food was a bit cold, but that's to be expected as we came in non-busy hours. There are refillable drinks, which was great, as you can't find too many nowadays. But overall, the staff was amazing, with good food options and a lovely atmosphere. I will come again; it's a great little gem in Sunderland.”

  “Maybe it was because it was a Sunday but this was hands down one of the worst buffet experiences I have ever had. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant looked lovely but the food was atrocious. Basic, sparce and had been sitting for a very long time. £66 for 2 adults and a child...... Will not be back.”

  “Went in at 1900 hrs. A big mistake. Dried up food in the trays. A poor selection available as the trays hadn't been refilled. The meat in all the available dishes was tough and tasteless. All in all it's a while since I was there and it will be an eternity before I go back.”

  “Currently writing this review while still sitting at the table. Unfortunately, the food is very bland and the selection is extremely basic. I’m genuinely confused as to what kind of Chinese buffet serves pizza alongside Yorkshire puddings, mash, and peas. We paid extra for refillable drinks, yet they were never refilled, and used plates were left sitting on the table for far too long. Overall, a disappointing experience. We won’t be coming back any time soon, if at all.”

  “had never been since it had been taken over, been about 6 year so was looking forward to trying it. went yesterday and was really let down. it looks lovely but the food was cold, some food was chewy other bits were really tough. some parts were barely even warm. we were In just after it opened so maybe thats why. spent today ill (possibly food poisoning) ate nothing different apart from here and ive been ill. really disappointed and for £45 for 2 people i expected at least warm food. anyway I wont be back and would not recommend it to anyone unless you want to be on the toilet for the 48 hours”

  “Renovated from my last visit and absolutely wonderful, with a wide selection of foods for everyone. We went to the weekend lunch buffet and it was incredible. The atmosphere was amazing and I adore the new interior. The food is incredible, and now much more insulated and not left to air as much as it used to. Therefore, less possibility for cross contamination (though some may occur). The staff are friendly, accommodating and wholesome. A wonderful eating place for lunch and dinner, for dates or family meals. Plus, they have custard buns that look like chickens! You can't say no to this adorable face!”

  “I travelled from Leeds to Sunderland just to try panda garden and I must say I wasn't disappointed and the trip was well worth it. You must try this place for a good bite to eat for a reasonable price. The staff are exceptional and very attentive. Many thanks panda garden and I hope to return very soon.”

  “First, of, it was easy to locate Secondly, the ambience is beautiful The staff are super responsive and kind. Price is being displayed at the entrance so no surprises. An array of delicious dishes, although mainly Asian cuisines. From starter to main and to dessert, everything was yummy In my opinion, the price is super cool. Drinks range from pure fruit juices to soft and alcoholic. All very affordable I will go again No parking as much as it's in the city centre We had to park on another street and walked down It's a very good place for a group hang out and I will definitely go again and again”
