  “Ordered a chilli burger tonight, picture shows with chilli con carne and hash browns so I picked it. Ended up with chilli sauce and jalapenos with a very dry burger. Would of taken back if closer. Also ordered the cheese bites, so over cooked the cheese has left the chat. We had a portion of 6 batter casings. Normally food is good 🤷🏻”

  “Really disappointed didn't eat today . I was served irritantly with a sarcastic smile as later I see GFC scammed me instead of a meal I paid £10 for a bottle of original coke and 1 piece of ropey chicken an two cut up fried spuds I get home and open it up. I had to look on the online menu for prices for pieces of chicken 🍗 I released I will be hungry till tomorrow morning thanks for that pl don't serve me again as I won't expect any of the staff to be bothered by me. Well then il be going hungry thanks GFC Not to mention value of good is only good enough for the wild life as I have thrown it in blue bin”

  “Been going here since I went out as a teenager (legal) in 2006 onwards! Was very happy to see that they merged with a pizzeria and expanded! Honestly the staff are the friendliest bunch you’ll ever meet and the chicken is always fresh! Literally like having roast chicken it’s that delicious and succulent!! although I’m approaching 40 and don’t drink these days if I’m ever back in Stow I’ll pop in there for 3 piece meal and chips - this time I’m ordering it sober and not at 4am after Jokers 😆! Definitely worth a walk from whatever bar or club you are in to get some at the end of the night - taxis are close by as well!”

  “This is 100% our go-to take away in Stow, I'll be completely honest, we order from here A LOT because myself and my partner work very unsociable hours and they are always bang on. We literally get the same thing every time and it always hits the spot, always piping hot too. Proper comfort food and we are always happy with our order. Will always recommend, priced really well for decent quality, delivery is always great and drivers are always so friendly. (Sorry for lots of always). Thank you for bailing us out for the last 2 years and saving me from having to cook when I really don't want to! I love loads of cheese on my chips too, and we put a note to ask for lots of cheese and there's a generous amount every time. Thank you for being the best!”

  “I’ve ordered from Golden Fried Chicken for the first time and the last time. The burger was alright as it was standard frozen patty which you get from most of the kebab shops. Chicken wings were not spicy at all and were soggy. Chicken pieces were undercooked and extremely soggy. I specifically asked for chicken breast as I don’t have anything else but the shop decided to sent only once piece of chicken breast and the rest were leg and shoulder. I had to bin the chickens as they were not pleasant to eat. Delivery was fast and the driver was very polite and that’s why I’ve given one star ⭐️! Definitely Wouldn’t recommend. There are better places around Stowmarket to order. Update after restaurant reply. It's your responsibility to call the customer if you cannot meet their dietary requirements. After receiving the order, there is no point calling the restaurant as it's just waste time!”

  “Ordered from here tonight for the first time, we are impressed, beautiful food we really enjoyed it! Also the delivery driver was very nice we didn’t catch his name but he delivered the food and then came back with 4 lollipops for the children which I thought was really thoughtful! Thank you”

  “For a cheap and cheerful it was very good, I had the chicken burger and my boyfriend had 3 piece chicken. My burger was gorgeous. Only qualm with the 3 piece chicken was that it was a bit greasy so the batter just slid off but otherwise taste was fine and all hot”
