  “We were here last night for a retirement meal as a party of 9. We’d pre-ordered our food & it came out so quickly after arrival, all very tasty & piping hot. The highlight of our visit is always the spinach & ricotta cannelloni as 2 of the party are vegetarians. We’ve been multiple times & always had great food!”

  “My favourite Italian in Stoke-on-Trent. Always very nice food, if I'm going to be extra critical, yes as always there is room for improvement. The staff are excellent and atmosphere is very nice. We are lucky to have a restaurant this good and ambitious in Stoke-on-Trent. 4.8 out of 5 star for me. They're always improving so won't be long before is a solid 5 stars and maybe beyond”

  “One of best Italian restaurants I got a chance to eat at. Food was delicious. I choice was an chicken with creamy sauce. Meat was cooked just right, not dry just like it should be. Aslo as a side order I chose some fires. Those was a delicious side to main I got. Made fresh with some extra spices and herbs which make it just awesomely good! Definitely worth to stop and dine.”

  “A really surprising find! Having not long moved to the area I've found the amount of restaurants to be a bit limited. Had driven past this place a few times but hadn't expected much from it given the standard of other nearby places. The end result exceeded my expectations, the food was a really good standard, well presented and delicious so kudos to the chefs. Service was good but could perhaps be improved by a more personal touch. The food speaks for itself though and makes up for this. For context though, it was a busy Saturday service, perhaps I'll return for a weekday and see how that pans out. Prices were good too! I'll definitely return and would recommend!”

  “This restaurant is local for us, I’m not sure why it took so long for us to try it but we were happy that we did. The decor is sophisticated and there is a nice ambiance to the place. Food and service were both excellent, it was nice to have Italian dessert options outside of the usual tiramisu (although they do offer that). I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and would visit again.”

  “The food and drinks were absolutely outstanding. It’s genuine Italian cuisine and the authenticity really shows in every dish. What impressed me most, though, was the service. The waiters and waitresses were incredibly attentive, their timing was impeccable, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. It made the whole experience feel relaxed, welcoming, and truly memorable.”

  “Attentive staff from the moment we entered the door, suave décor, a wood fire and classy atmosphere. Opened with the Roast Octopus which had a deep savoury flavour from the grill, perfectly chewy exterior and a tender inside, bed of peppery oregano and accompanying lemon cutting through and enhancing the entire experience. Unbeatable as a starter. A main of Lasagne, whilst unlikely to blow you away, it is a staple dish done very well by the restaurant. Cheese and Béchamel not overwhelming the other flavours, fries were a side order which rounded the meal out. Classic Tiramisu, the creamy layer had an ideal consistency, light sponge fingers, the cocoa powdering offering a gentle sweetness. I enjoyed each spoonful with the amaretto coming through after the initial sweetness. La Villa Verde was a standout for me, certainly worth going out of your way for.”

  “Stopped here for an evening meal while visiting Alton Towers. The food was exceptional and the service from all of the staff was perfect. Very reasonably priced from the standard of food too! Definitely well worth a visit if you're in the area.”

  “What a gem! I’m absolutely obsessed with this Italian restaurant! the food was outstanding. We had the octopus, which was perfectly prepared, and the garlic bread, which was phenomenal. For mains, we tried pasta and a calzone, both excellent. But the true star for me was the bread!! it was a masterpiece on its own, so good it didn’t need any sauce or extras.”
